It's not a user issue that we can fix. Go look at the bug report thread with over 84+ pages. This is a widespread issues of the game literally freezing people PCs, they've troubleshooted over a dozen different solutions with no fix

Problems with your hardware are your problems. If the game hangs the whole system, there is definetely wrong with your setup. The exeception will be fixed eventually but the issues related to your drivers / hardware still remain.

Really? Please tell us all what the hardware issue is that's bricking countless configurations then, I'd love to know so I can implement it myself and stop crashing my entire PC that's less than a few years old with everything updated. They are throwing the book at this to no avail.

It's funny to read about those who complain. I realized they were killing autocasts from the moment they nerfed Vortex in POE 1, then there were many more steps in that direction. And you are surprised as if they are doing it for the first time.
So you nerf one of the few things I actually enjoyed playing. Thanks.

No they are not killing auto casts, look at the skills available - cast on freeze, cast on shock, cast on ignite, cast on minion death and cast on something else. If they were trying to cancel automation none of this would have existed as it doesnt in POE 1
It's generally not auto casts it's loops.

The oldest example is wurmblaster, the reason they got rid of it was it was killing their servers with the number of calculations.

I don't know how wardloop got away with it for so long, maybe due to lack of popularity so less server toll.

Yeah. I can kinda understand the "no triggered spells" thing, because the interaction was kinda busted, but them no longer spawning from secondary projectiles feels weird.


Also, I can understand the "no triggered spells" when it comes from Cast on Minion Death, since CoMD explicitly says that it can't work with spells that create minions, and SRS was just a "trick" to bypass it, but I think they still should trigger from stuff like Cast on Ignite (or Cast on Freeze/Shock, etc), mainly on principle, since those spells never had the restriction.

How CPU utilization by the game engine related to unhandled exceptions and the problems related to the bad logic in the driver / uefi code and / or damaged hardware? If your system is not capable to run at 100% CPU load and crashes, it's YOUR problem. And it's definitely something serious. UEFI/driver issues, unstable power supply, overheating and chip defects. You can blame GGG only if the specific process crashes and closes unexpectedly but when your whole system collapses - it's your end issue and for some reason you deny to admit it. You literally told - high CPU load causes the system to crash. So fix your box.

Yes, our CPUs are also experiencing high load (I suspect due to profiling and / or debug code), but the system can work at max 100% for weeks without rebooting.

I'm not using SRS, so this doesn't affect me, but...

I really think being able to increase the spirit reservation per skull would have been a better balance change than limiting it to 5.
