POE 2 is fantastic, and i hope the devs don't listen to the vocal minority

The game is not in it's final form; that said I hope GGG keeps true to the vision they have at this moment because I LOVE what I am playing right now!

TRUST IN GGG!

Poe 2 awaits the fate of ruthless mode with 1% of the audience, good luck.

Why does negative feedback comes from a "vocal minority".

The game is in early access. It's clearly flawed. Just because people don't agree with you doesn't make them a "vocal minority". The game hasn't even been out long enough to determine wether or not there is a vocal minority. You can't delegitimizing negative feedback like that.

An ARPG isn't going to sustain a playerbase based on "the game looks good and there are lots of monsters".

You guys talk about vocal majorities or minorities like it matters so much.

Trust me, nobody is gonna take Reddit/forum crybabies seriously, it's a fact that most people that play games don't even use Reddit at all, so far the game has a huge playerbase, and that's what really matters.

Keep in mind the game is the biggest mainstream release right now, everyone is playing it, and let's be honest, there are SO MANY entitled crybabies in this world, so therefore there's gonna be a lot of complains in the forums, but that doesn't mean the majority of people dislike the difficulty, in fact it's probably the opposite considering the playerbase the game has right now, we don't really know yet.

We already know that ruthless is not popular in POE1. I don't think the current POE2 balancing and design philosophy will be either. Player retention of the current version of POE2 will reveal a lot is all I'm saying.

To be fair, I dont think PoE1 is anywhere near as popular as people here make it out to be. Most people never make it to maps who try the game. People here love to say, "Best and greatest Arpg of all time!" When its still a niche title, and always has been.

I like PoE, but theres this notion that its the most successful and greatest Arpg of all time and that is entirely subjective, ESPECIALLY if we use playerbase metrics. D3 had more players up until like 2017 and it only had 1 expansion, D4 is VERY popular despite how much people here hate it(me included).

The playerbase metric isnt always the best example.

According to some websites d3 and especially d4 have had way more concurrent players than poe can ever hope to have. I don't know if I trust their methodology though.

Functioning multiplayer probably explains it more than anything else. As well as vapid fun arcade gameplay v your build doesn't work because you thought taking increased crit nodes on the tree actually substantially increases your crit chance.

Well we know D4 sold over 12x as many copies as POE2 gave out EA keys. So yeah it certainly hit millions concurrent on launch.

A site like Maxroll knows how many hits their D4 and POE2 pages get. But they don't release those numbers. I know someone said their IcyVeins D4 guides had a pretty big multiplier more hits than their Last Epoch ones. And LE had a respectable 260k concurrent on launch.

The Diablo name goes really far with casuals I'm actually surprised POE2 isn't actually targeting the more casual crowd a bit more. As I thought they were trying to expand who they cater to.

They could always have a Ruthless mode added to POE2 to appease those looking for maximum challenge.

I mean, even at 50k, thats still a significant player base.

3.1 BILLION+ people in the entire world, and you think 50k players on a game is good....

ROFLMFAO...

3.1b? lmao where did you pull that number out of?
