Massive Latency Spikes

same here, using Frankfurt as a server
Yep, same here! Latency spikes up to 30k some times and kicks me out to login screen. Was fine during the weekend! :/
So a way to fix this, which worked for me, but is a really shitty solution: use the Hotspot of your phone. No other solution has helped. I have tried different DNS, VPN, I have tried servers in America, I have tried Linux and Windows.

So there must be something going on with my network, some port is not opening correctly or for some reason packet loss is happening, but the fact that GGG is saying nothing and providing no way to fix this issue is infuriating.

What is the solution, and why does Hotspot network on my phone work, but not the powerful router which is way more secure and can provide better latency and speeds????
I have same problem. Game is just unplayable for me.
Same issue here. Randomly started happening today after 7pm. Was fine until then.

Follow up to this.

I tried the mobile hotspot as many other people have mentioned & its completely fine.

Just incase this has any help for devs trying to figure out what is happening.
Same problem. The server is Japan. When standing, ping - 20-30 ms, just start moving - ping goes up to 350-400 ms, but feels like 1 s. Neither death, nor changing network mode, nor hotspot from the phone doesn't help. So the only suspicion is on the game itself. Waiting for either a targeted solution or a patch to be rolled out.
Same issue here. Cali server. Like others have said, dying seems to fix the issue until another instance change, then right back to 5-200ms ping spikes.

Hitting F1 and monitoring it. My high-end rig on a 5 gigabit fiber with 7ms that spikes every few seconds to 200-600ms causing sutter pauses making the game unplayable.

Testing the mobile hotspot. Have to make sure ethernet is disabled and just went off my iPhone's hotspot, and it's been running flawlessly here as well and staying steady around 40-50ms range with no spikes and stutter.

I'm on the California data center as well. Re-enabled ethernet and now logged in Texas instead and it's holding steady at 40ms, no stutter. I wonder if it's the California data center that is the culprit.

The issue is a server process having some issue. You can't do anything seemingly to stop it, short of dying which matches you to a new server instance. Could be bad hardware, a bug in the server code, or who knows what. It's not your client however.
