Massive Latency Spikes

Just to give some more insight.

It's also happening to me, but exclusively on my laptop.
It has a RTX 4070, and the network if fine. I use it to remote play PS5 and my desktop.
It's 11ms of latency, and very frequently spikes at 2000ms.

But on my PC, same network, but ethernet instead, it's perfect. Very weird.

Again: it's not a network issue, every other game works perfectly.
Same here, really bad network spikes and rubberbanding. Creating new isntances doesn't seem to be helping

Well that cannot even be considered as a solution, after acts you can't create new zones for your maps so rn endgame is completely unplayable for me.
Posting here to confirm I also have been having this issue since about 3 days ago after the most recent patch.

My ping starts at a stable 28ms then will shoot up to around 1200-1300 ms for a second or two and then drop back down to normal, repeating this cylce every 5-15 seconds.

I've tried every "fix" that's been suggested here to no change.

Hopefully, GGG can sort this out soon!
same issue with everyone from 30 ms to 400-500ms for split secont and then again the same making the game unplayable
Happening to me since game was released but i would port to town and back MS would go back to normal. But since this morning no porting to town is helping i get constant spikes from 20MS to 200-4000MS game is unplayable

EDIT 1
I ran dxdiag and i got some errors I also did
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth it finished 100 no errors then i ran sfc /scannow it found errors and repair them. So if someone can help me how
to resolve these errors it would be much appreciated

I’m curious how many of those experiencing issues are using AT&T as their ISP. And more specifically, AT&T Fiber.

This has been a reoccurring issue for me since last Monday and nothing has fixed it and I've got mediacom internet and never had a problem with any other game, why do people just assume its AT&T that is part of the problem.
Still have this issue for most of the EA now. Today it's especially bad again, stuttering all the fucking time. Even gameplay freezing entirely sometimes for a few seconds. All with only latency spiking.

Edit: Just found that it's in fact not the game or GGG servers. There's some problem with (my) PC/Windows that causes frequent latency spikes across the board. They are short and other programs and games seem to deal with them in a way that I don't notice.

When I run pings for the PoE server and one of my servers there's a spike at roughly the same time, all the time. This does not happen on a laptop I put right beside my PC with the same pings running. There is's very consistent at ~20ms for both. It's pretty safe to say that it's not my Internet or my WLAN. No clue what the hell causes it.

Left PoE server (Frankfurt), right one of my servers.

For others with the problem I'd suggest to test this too. Run a CMD window and do
ping -t ANY_IP_OF_WHATEVER_SERVER_YOU_KNOW
You can do e.g. ping -t 1.1.1.1, does the trick for me too and has the same spikes at the same time.

Edit 2: Yeah, I can conclude that it must be this PC or its wireless adapter causing it. Other devices in the same WLAN do not show this behavior. Only this one PC. Sadly I currently can't connect with a cable so I can't check if that would fix it. Anyway, I strongly suggest others with this very problem pattern (regular ping spikes and stutter) to check for this too, it may very well be your PC, wireless connection or a combination of that.

Edit 3: I can play pretty much fine using a hotspot from my phone. Being mobile internet it's rather unstable in terms of latency which causes minor stutter in gameplay, but the huge spikes and heavy stuttering does not happen at all. It's 100% not the game causing the problem for me, it's just the only game that makes it obvious there is a problem.
