If it came down to it, what new CPU would you guys reccommend assuming that's the culprit? I have an AMD ryzen 7800 x3d. Built my PC March 2024, I have the 4080 Super.

" If I remember correctly, GGG mentioned in an interview that the crash is caused by NVIDIA drivers. Just wait for NVIDIA to release new drivers. |

they talk about crash to desktop so they a re not speaking about this. And its not a gpu problem, its a cpu problem. Since i use poeuncrasher, 0 crashes.
from their known issues post: Investigating cases where some players experience crashes related to Multithreading and have to restart their PCs. This seems to mostly be for players with the Windows 24H2 update. Its a cpu issue Last edited by Multani2#2513 on Jan 13, 2025, 5:59:28 PM

"WRONG..... I have an AMD 2700 and does it. |

" they should give refunds on supporter packs then, simplez. |

I don't know if this would help anybody else but it helped me. I also have the same issues freezing and CTD. Turning off multithreading reduced the frequency of freezing and CTD but resulting in low FPS.
However turning on multithreading AND triple buffering seems to resolve this issue for me. Will keep monitor if this actually the solution. Edit: I'm using Win1124H2 Latest NVIDIA driver 566.36 Last edited by exiled#5468 on Jan 13, 2025, 6:33:08 PM

Will this cpu lockup actually damage your computer components? I haven’t played in a while because I was getting tired of having to power off my system during lockups, but, wasn’t sure if there was actual risk to my machine versus annoyance.
