Hard crashing PC locks up

Sorry to hear! This happened to me as well but resolved after power cycling the PSU. I know it might not do anything for you but worth a try.

This is real drama. While reading this topic, I had the game on on my main monitor just to be online in case I had a buyer for the items, so I was AFK in hideout. I was reading posts on this topic, and then my monitors went out and my PC crashed, my temperatures were stable and the infographic in the game did not load shaders because the lines were flat. There is no longer any point in even launching the game to sell something without risking damage to your PC.

(I will add that after 460 hours of grinding, I finally created a character for MF a few days ago (519%) and I still haven't had a chance to enjoy it.)

Now that worries me the most due the lack of communication is that this still be an issue after the next content patch...

I really think they have no clue how to fix it, so they stay radio silent.
Steam should pull sales tell this is fixed imo. Most broken game in history.

Lol, that's even more insane, my reply has been deleted because they request to not post staff email responses on the forums. Yet they fail to acknowledge that they are working on a fix to this issue.

Nice! How many hours did u played? I'm about to do that if we don't get anything to fix this in this next patch.. Not sure if they will proceed with it since i played like 200h.. But with so many steam reviews talking about the crashes, and not being able to play.. I'll give a shot with an very well detailed observation in my request

I tried to play for about 5 hours, but actually played 0 hours as I don’t consider freezing every 20 seconds playing. I decided not to try again until the game was fixed because it was really overheating my Xbox.

So I’ve been here every day hoping they would openly address this issue and talk to the community, but I think that’s not how they work.

PoEuncrasher handicaps your CPU to try to prevent the game from crashing your PC. We shouldn't have to lower our CPU's potential to prevent a game from crashing. It makes no sense to program the game like that. There are fundamental coding errors that GGG needs to fix. This is ALL on GGG to fix in their game code.
