Hard crashing PC locks up

I don't have problems with game hard crashing they have a year to fix this, as long as it lets me terminate it in task manager and it doesn't freeze my computer so I have to power off/on it. That's all I ask no lock ups.
There is just something wrong with shader cashing or how game interacts with slready generated cash. Delete contents of shader cash folders. It will fix the issue until errors with cashe will pile up.

Of course it's on GGG's side, we don't have this issue on any other game.

Because other games don't utilize some features in your system but PoE 2 does? And using them triggers certain conditions that leads to lock ups. So many users have hidden problem and kernel-level design flaw which is a root of the problem, not the game itself.

Just read how ANY user mode application interacts with your hardware, what is HAL, ring 0, ring 3, interrupts (1), system calls

Your user mode applications SHOULD NEVER EVER lead to Bug Check screens or even locks! If it happened, there is something definitely wrong with the UNDERLYING sub-systems like HAL / drivers / etc or interaction between them. The application may crash, hang, eat all of your available resources but if operating system let the application affect the critical levels (ring 0 or even lower) - it's not application's fault.

There's an issue with multithreading and other games uses it as well.

Still getting this and it seems a lot worse since the patch. I've tried most of the fixes except the CPU limiter and rolling back Windows.

The only thing I've found that's any use is setting CPU affinity, this at least makes it possible to kill the application rather than force shutdown.

Ryzen 5 3600x
4070 TI Super
Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite
M2 SSD
Windows 24H2

Hey, what is this CPU affinity thing? I'd much rather do this and still be able to play.
0.1.0d did not fix this issue, game is still Hard Locking up, it seems to be worse now actually, it looks like it is happening when transitions are going on IE going to Town or to a new area. Already supplied the DxDiag.
Still crashing on latest patch with engine multithreading on.

Issue remains, but it is so awkwardly random. Was able to play for multiple hours without issue. Didn't port to camp to avoid adding to many opportunities for it to crash. Made it to a point where I figured might as well go to camp once, it immediately crashed.

Session didn't start at camp, played a baby character in act 1. But because of the seeming randomness of it all, I don't know if the camp bit is relevant at all.
Hope they figure this out soon.
Still crashing on latest patch... unplayable
Still broke, cache clearing still seems to help a lot.

Also I played Marvel Rivals for like 5-6 hours at max last night, maybe we should email GGG to talk to Netease so those guys can sit them down and teach them how to build a game around the supposed windows black hole the weird kids in this thread are currently having a conspiracy theory about?

I have noe massive porblems since the last ptach 0.1.0d....

I get disconnected randomly every hour, and sometimes even just complete crashes

i changed nothing from yesterday

At the beginning of EA i had a lot of times the "d3d12 Failure" -> but then switched to Vulkan and Vsync OFF and all went well, played the last 2 days without any problems

And now with the new Patch i get disconnected COMPLETELY random, without any information why....

As people say, never play an patchday i guess
