Hard crashing PC locks up

"This seems to mostly be for players with the Windows 24H2 update"
CORRECTION:
This seems to mostly be for OUR VIDEO GAME.
I tried Vulcan and I was still crashing.

i7 10700k. :(
I posted about these kind of crashes all the way back in 2017 for POE 1, and even by then they were happening for years. This will never be fixed.
Logged in after patch ok - teleported to trial (first ascendancy) ok, put coin and artifacts in and then opened the door and got the load screen lock up. Luckly I am doing the Assign Affinity in task manager to disable core 0, 1 and 2 from the POE2 exe so my whole system doesn't lock up any more.

Now every single time I try to log into that character it gives the load screen lock up. Amazing!

As it's a new system I would have to do a fresh install of Windows, which reading comments not sure that even fixes a lot of peoples issues and would be a huge pain in the ass :(
Yeah they really need to fix this ive only been able to play for a few hours, I know its on their priority list but I feel like this should be fixed before balance changes...whats the point in balancing if we cant play

Patch 0.1.0d notes, on their way. Fingers crossed for a fix.

i crash after patch
update post patch: still crashing. now it's crashing even when i try to change to vulkan.
what a shame cant believe this still isnt fixed. got my hopes up when i saw there was a patch, came here and still not even gonna boot it up. Ive requested a refund on steam after 15-20 crashes in 10 hours. I can't anymore. I'll stay in the loop until a fix is announced.

With 9 hours played, I spammed 7 straight refund requests on Steam and they all were auto denied within 15 minutes. Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I don’t believe there is a way to have an actual human Steam employee review a request if you’ve gone over the allotted 2 hours. I couldn’t figure it out at least.

Unfortunately there are hundreds of thousands of ppl who can play and only a few thousand probably who can’t. They have to keep the masses happy.

And hearing this is a multi year issue from a few other posts, it’s prob just time for me to wash my hands with it and move on
