bummer.

Lol at kalguur being the only decent poe league "in years".

What other leagues have been decent since PoE 2 has taken priority?

The only ones I can think of would be ToTA or Sanctum (I dont like Sanctum). Personally, Affliction and Necropolis have been the worst leagues since I started playing playing since Harbinger.

well it's all subjective I guess but sanctum and affliction were incredibly popular, maybe more so than kalguur. Tota was my personal favorite (but less popular). Necropolis was a bit of a dud albeit with item power potential maybe more broken than recombinators. In fact the only true disaster league I remember was the one after archnemesis when they broke all the rare mobs.

edit: and the "disaster" league I'm remembering was sentinel, which was also really popular (but seriously; the rare mobs were horribly tuned in that league)

I dont remember Sanctum being popular - IIRC it was one of those league mechanics where you liked it or didnt. Granted, If I didnt league start Exsangunate that league I probably wouldve enjoyed it more.

Yea... I really enjoyed ToTa also - the problem was I couldnt keep playing the mechanic without reaching higher levels. Idk why they didnt make it like delve where I could continue the same 'depth'. I hope ToTA comes back next league as it was one of my fav mechanics just poorly balanced to such a high degree where people have to cheese the content with big brain builds.

"Remember, youre the best."
TLDR of that clip:
Delayed because of MTX.

Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
Actual TL;DR:

"We're delaying three weeks because we underestimated how snarled-up and problematic our code for storing all your purchase history with us is, and we decided taking the extra time to get that done right is better than rushing a launch and very probably breaking some people's accounts and costing them years of spending."

A decision which, while quite painful, is entirely correct. You don't fuck with people's money. Surest way to turn a paying, supporting player into a vehement critic is to break their paid MTXes. They cannot afford to bollix that up, and frankly I suspect the MTX cross compatibility is a 'now or never' deal. I suspect it would be massively more difficult to do the cross compabitibility once the second game is live and running, so no option for "we'll launch without MTX compatibility and work on that as an early goal in order to avoid delays".

So yeah. It sucks that some people are locked into vacation time they can't untake and now can't use to play PoE. That burns. It sucks that we're all stuck back on the Copium Express for another month. But if a three-week delay is what it takes to make absolutely sure nobody loses their stuff? Then a three-week delay it is.
