Radio silence = Crunch time
I'm on hopium and I'm pretty sure the hype will be through the roof in the wake of the announcement.

" I think we're past the point where they can gain much of a hype boost with a mere teaser. Maybe if we were a few months out, we'd be getting teased more, but we're at about that point where people want some actual steak, not just the small of cooking meat, so the fact that they're forgoing teasers in the run-up to the announcement stream itself is about what I was expecting. The announcement stream needs to happen about a week before the Nov. 15th launch, and the announcement of e the stream details normally hits about a week before the stream proper, which would Halloween -- still a few days away. If GGG get all the way to the weekend without any news, I'll start getting nervous, but I won't start worrying until Saturday. " True, but they've never launched anything as big as PoE2 before, or as ambitious, and they've also never set a release date as far in advance as they did this time, so I'm not surprised that they're doing things a little differently. If it takes the rest of the week for them to feel like they've got a solid handle on what will and won't be ready for the start of early access in two weeks, then I'd rather they take the time and then give us a status update. " It is odd, yes. I'm still not going to start worrying until Saturday, " Me, too; I get less excited about Xmas than I am about PoE2. The artist formerly known as Waitubold. Lol. I had a gut feeling this was going to happen. It would be strange for the game to not be delayed at this point. Although, PoE 1 being delayed an additional 3-4 months is quite the move.
Honestly, I think if PoE 2 doesnt meet expectations and causes further delays to PoE 1 I think a lot of the PoE 1 fans will be highly disappointed and possibly nope out after years of medium/bad leagues with Settlers of Kalguur being the only exception (so far). Good Luck to GGG and hopefully they can skyrocket and keep players high once PoE 2 hits. Youtube - PartTimeExile

" bummer. Lol at kalguur being the only decent poe league "in years". |

" Lots of people were speculating about the game itself not being ready, for sure, but I do think it's noteworthy that it's not the game part of PoE2 that causing the delay - it's account database migration issues. It's the damn mtx! I don't think anyone saw that coming. They did promise that all our mtx would carry over, though, and delaying the EA launch by three weeks to keep that promise is a pretty pro-consumer move, even if it is torture. " What other leagues have been decent since PoE 2 has taken priority? The only ones I can think of would be ToTA or Sanctum (I dont like Sanctum). Personally, Affliction and Necropolis have been the worst leagues since I started playing playing since Harbinger. Youtube - PartTimeExile www.youtube.com/@PartTimeExile "Remember, youre the best."
