From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

I expected PoE 2 to be the better version of Ruthless but it was a disappointment for me. I didn't enjoy the game at all. I'm back to PoE for Ruthless SSF. For me it's a much better experience than PoE 2.
it's possible both games are doomed since the captain left.

pantheon rise of the fallen looked promising before brad "left", for example. now you never even hear about it.
i love how heavy loaded the question is "from what you seen so far" *skull emote*
Both. No reason to pick. New content for one is out you play it. If the other one releases content you play it. It's just a video game, you're not married to it. I don't understand why so many are fighting for one over the other. Both can be good.

Weird to think you have to pick one.
Tbh PoE2 can get a good game but atm its just a big letdown whit how they handelt it.
I will stay whit PoE1 for now but will see how often new content for poe1 comes ... save to say for now im disapointet in ggg they lied to us "poe2 will not affect poe1" untiel this is porven i wil not spent a singel penny any more
I don`t know why these kinds of posts always start with: "are you leaving or staying". Why not both and enjoy other arpgs for that matter.

I also don’t understand this. There is a tribalism feeling somehow going on, even though it literally doesn’t matter from ggg perspective. In the end, either playing 1 or 2 your money is going to the same place.

It may also be something tied to identity, I don’t know but it is strange. Regardless, for now I am on the yes side.
I had more fun with Diablo 3's season 33 than I did with PoE2. The game is dead on arrival, only people 'enjoying' it will be streamer shills and their 5-23 year old loser fans, who lick the devs spit off the floor and say "thank you, master".

This new PoE1 league looks fun although I haven't played in ages since the community is mostly betas and in-shells. It should definitely be a 3 month league, but these PoE2 devs are going super hard with their unfinished cashgrab trash game. Poe2 sucks and pressing dodge over and over isn't gaming it's a chore only a short nerd loser could enjoy.

(I never read replies)

LOL imagine understanding subjectivity SOOO poorly. (different people like different things) That you need to make up little stories trying to demean people who like thing you don't like; so you can come to grips with it.

My mom once told me that as ~5 year old I went through a phase of making mean drawings about her when she didn't give me what I wanted or like what I liked. I think I grew out of that before I was 6 probably right about the time she explained "different people like different things".

Now I'm here explaining it to presumably a grown ass person. WTF happened to parents?

Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.

Identity is part of it wrapping a preferences into your ego or sense of self is common enough.

People who are particularly lacking in self awareness of self esteem often need outside validation for their preferences and even in extreme cases feel personally attacked by other peoples preferences.
