[3.25] The Lazy Nova - Archmage MoM Crit Ice Nova of Frostbolts with Svalinn

Hey guys, a question i used the 0.6 mana regeneration per 10 devotion on my militant faith timeless jewel and changed it into 4% elemental damage per 10 devotion jewel. But my dps on pob drops 100k dps, anyone know why?

Can you show us a before and after POB so that we can compare?

On the surface, if that was really the only change, your DPS should have gone up, not down unless you mistakenly overwrote one of our nodes with the new jewel.

Hello, i struggle with keeping my mana over 0, wanna try to get another Mana Mastery Recoup but out of ideas except Badge of Brotherhood with both spellblock and either %str or %block attack, how to get extra Str(i took useless Divine Fervour to get needed Str).
Any other optimizations for either DPS or Tankiness will be gladly appreciated!

123 Str needed for Svalinn. 23 Base, 42 from perfect Mageblood with quality, 30 from un-Tattooed small nodes, 10 from bad Divine Fervour, 10 (5 and 5) from 2 large clusters(suffix), 10 (5 and 5) from Unnatural Instinct near Scion. 125 total atm.

p.s. otherwise build is perfect if it is possible to improve mana-sustain.
tonns of immunities(curses, corrupted blood, poison, bleed, stun, elemental ailments, burning ground), 88%/88% non-glancingblows block, auto-opening of chests and all Delve stuff(very useful quality-of-life feature), large aoe for clearing, good boss dps, a lot of damage-mitigation layers from spells, possibility to change Granite flask to Gold flask for 116% more rarity.

p.p.s. noticed that i lack Incoming Critical strikes immunity. any idea with it?

guessing the new jewel transformed a useful node into something less useful

*For mana sustain, it looks like you have left off the recommended tree path to Arcane Will.

*You can experiment with changing your amulet anoint to Mind Drinker, which helps sustain mana while mapping (but does very little against single targets)

* Having two Doriyani's Lesson nodes on your large clusters is not efficient as the build caps life leech with only one Doriyani's Lesson

* Crit Immunity typically comes in the form of something like 50% from chest corruption, 30% from Sanctum of Thought (via Impossible Escape) and tattoo's for the rest.

* Your config is missing the Punishment smoother to give a more realistic view of what Punishment does. You can add this if you like:

#Punishment averaged out for low life and non low life
60% Reduced Punishment Curse Effect

* We do not recommend using Power Charge on Crit. You can get significantly more damage from changing this to Intensify and changing the caster mastery to .....+1 to Maximum Intensity. Our build can sustain 4 stacks of Intensity very easily (set this in your config to see the massive difference). We also maintain our power charges through a combination of Disciple of the Forbidden on the tree and Assassins Mark (via quality)

Gloves: probably worst item/easiest to find/craft an upgrade. Damage while leeching or damage against chilled enemies is nice, but just getting another resist roll would be good. The Dex seems excessive unless I am missing something.

Uniques: get any useful corrupt implicit/double implict

Wands: Get crit multi

Belt: Mageblood would be the most significant upgrade you can get assuming you are managing to resist cap with current setup.

My guess is that he needs the dex because he over leveled GMP.

If he reduces the level of GMP way down (as GMP levels are relatively meaningless in this build), he may be able to free up the need for dex on the gloves.

That is definitely it. @Wiiz, in case you didn't know, you can run a lvl 1 greater multi projectiles without any significant damage loss. The damage modifiers of the gem only affect frostbolt, and almost all of our damage comes from Icenova being cast on top of the frostbolts, which is not affected.
