[3.25] The Lazy Nova - Archmage MoM Crit Ice Nova of Frostbolts with Svalinn

With the mage blood setup it looks like it's hard to get elemental resistances. is it worth doing the setup in the pob or can i use triple ele flasks too? maybe 1 bismuth flask with more ele resists? and bottled faith and rumi's are mandatory? I am about to get my first mage blood ever and i dont know what i should do with the mage blood setup. Also what t16 and t17 map mods this build cant do?

There are many different setups based on what your version is to get elemental resistances

You can use flasks to cap resists
You can use gear to cap resists
You can use Purity of Elements to cap your resists

With Mageblood, there are many many choices to make. There is no one correct setup, there are many viable solutions.

Choose what you most want your build to accomplish and then get flasks to match what you want.

Elemental resists
Chaos resists
Stun Immunity
Curse Immunity
Movement speed
Rarity
Crit Chance
Onslaught
Ailment Immunity

Choose which is most important to you.

=====

If you are not block capped, you should use Rumi’s. If you are block capped, you should use Bottled Faith.

IMO, Mageblood is too powerful to use both Rumi’s and Bottled Faith. I believe you should have 4 magic flasks and 1 unique flask.

Onslaught gives a good amount of movement speed already right? If so I won't get a quicksilver flask. I will probably drop bottled faith and add a bismuth flask with some other affix that doesn't raise my resists. What would you suggest? can you provide the exact mods on the flask and or provide a trade link to it? btw I was looking at this pob in the guide:

Here is a trade link for you.

You add in your base flask of choice, and then go to the filter section to pick out which suffix you want with that base and it will then provide you a correctly rolled Mageblood flask when searching

thanks this is really helpful. how about map mods to avoid on t16 and 17?
Loving the build and swapped over, doing well to try and work through my challenegs. Only dying to exceptionally rippy content.

Any tips on what to upgrade? Know I'm missing the gloves implicit and ring could probably be better but build feels pretty good otherwise!

One easy upgrade is getting the +1 to max power charges helmet corruption.

If you post a POB, we can give you better advice.

Here you go - yes power charge helmet should be an easy buy.

I've got about 80-90 div to work with at the moment
For the mageblood pob the gloves has inflict exposure on hit but the guide says #% of Lightning Damage Leeched as Life is mandatory. just follow the pob for mageblood and ignore the guide? also only map mod we cant do is no regen? how does this build deal with ele reflect?

This is what I avoid but please edit it to best suit your play style and build

T16: Ele Reflect, Reduced Effect of Curses, No Regen, No Leech, Reduced Block

T17: Suppress Spell Damage, Drowning Orbs, Petrification, No damage 3 of every 10 seconds, Marked for Death, Reduced leech, Rare/Uniques remove mana on hit,
