1% chance for my map runners to be killed in maps.

i just gave up on mappers. if you don't have all tier 10 mappers and even just a single tier 9 one, the tier 10 mappers will die very frequently in t16 maps and are very expensive to replace. some even died in t14 maps when i found a well rolled one. sure, they can occasionally find something decent, but to me they are not worth the trouble. with a little bit of rebalancing, they would be really great.

yep. i got rid of my mappers weeks ago. just not worth all the hassle. never got any good loot from them either so it was an easy decision.

There aren't real random num generators in computers, only simulated. Not ggg fault. The last system with a real random was N64.
It was kind of anoying to finaly get a t10 mapper and have him be the first to die.

I can confirm that if you have a single t9 mapper and the rest t10's the t'10s will always die. I also tested it on the other 2 devices. 1 t9 mapper and the rest t8, the t9 mapper dies.

doesnt matter what they are running. could be a t1 map and the highest level mapper dies.

I averaged 12% death rate doing this. so much for a 1% chance.

Just using what I have left to get rid of my extra maps and ill be deleting all my mappers....again
Anecdotally, any time I get a "Sailor dies" message, it's always a top tier worker. ='[.]'=

Mappers and shippers are he most over-powered currency generation tool POE has ever given us, and you guys are complaining about having to hire some extra workers for it to function? We have all done way more annoying things for way less profit.

No, people are complaining that it's way too punishing to lose workers you grinded possibly tens of hours to get. Atlas runners are a scam because of this 1% chance to die or the pirate boss, if you want divines then the best thing to do is 50 mil crop shipments anyway.

You do both, they arent mutually exclusive. And it doesnt take tens of hours to hire workers. Youre just playing the game wrong (ref. T17 hate post)

Agree, we really did had "worse" currency printer in the past that did require more setup and work.

But I can see why the replace of a dead worker ever now and then is such a deal for some.
They spend to much time trying to come up with 101 things to complain about something instead of investing the same amount of time and energy into gameplay.
Running 0 maps generates 0 currency and 0 gold after all, therefore there's no gold to hire new workers or sustain the town :)
