Agreed 100%. Median XL did a lot for D2 but what it did for scythes was especially awesome.

Dual wielding is kinda iffy, yeah. I mean Musashi made a whole legend about it and I don't doubt Niten Ichiryu was a thing, and parrying daggers like the main-gauche are legit...and dual butterfly swords are cool...and shashka dances are fucking amazing...but overall, none of it is all that practical. OTOH we're talking about fantasy here, not historical accuracy. So if I wanna make some sort of mad dervish deflecting arrows with two scimitars, I damn well will. If the game will let me.
