But you already have that. And me personally I would rather buy from a double blind auction house then from a player or scammer controlled bot.

AH vs PoE-trade is like a wrestling match, lots of heat but all of it is kind of fake. The real issue is at the end of the day, AH or not, you're getting gear by playing AH/trade and not the game itself. Now, that's not a bad thing but forcing AH/trade on everyone isn't.

Also, people who just want nothing to do with AH/trading coping in a corner playing SSF.

Also, circle of fortune is a recognition that a certain percentage of players want to find items on their own without putting up with trading/AH shenanigans.

Dark souls ruined gaming man , it spawned a massive wave of try hard people .

Everything has to be 120% effort or you are not a real gamer .

its true that not all gaming can cater to all type of gamers or they will fail.

But this is an arpg , and its core has casuals , hardcore players and everything in between .

unfortunately PoE keeps making changes that favor the tryhards and hardcore gamers , and alienating everyone else .

tryhards are the loudest on the forums and internet , simply because they have more free time to spend writing on forums and social media . so the majority of feedback comes from them .

While casuals have to many responsibilities , to engage on forums and such .
they get a few hours to play a day ...at best , at they wont spend it giving feedback .

this is why trade is how it is , and it will not change anytime soon .
if you dont see this as a problem , you are a part of that problem .

i think GGG realized this and that is why in POE 2 we are getting an in game trading system and many many casual friendly changes and simplifications.

and they are already getting complaints about poe2 from hardcore gamers everywhere .

Not EVERYTHING needs to be tailored to your personal preferences .
learn to compromise and accept people like different things.

To break it down for Non-Last Epoch people in PoE terms:

In Last Epoch you have a passive 1000% boost to increased item quantity and increased item rarity BUT you cannot trade. Any items you find this way cannot be traded.

AH: Auction house
LE: Last epoch
Circle of fortune: Name for passive MF boost

I dont mind if SSF would get loot boost, however they would need to make SSF into permament choice instead something you could opt-out at any time (mnuchj simpler solution than adding binding to items)

Now it requires some effort, not 2 clicks for everything you want. I would rather have trading as "last resort" kind of thing.

Dark souls is not hard. Im epitome of causal, i dont want AH in a game about collecting gear and making builds. I want reasonable way of getting gear myself and trading relegated to the role of getting last piece or 2 you need.
