LE has AH
" Price fixing does not happen in a vacuum. One of the primary reasons to price fix is to raise market prices to generate more IRL$$$. Remove one you remove the other, everybody that just wants to play the game wins. The scammers lose. |

" If you think hiding names of players will solve pricefixing please do tell me how the fuck.
" [Removed by Support] because this makes absolutely no sense and a completely inadequate response to the question. Names have absolutely nothing to do with price fixing. "remove one, you remove the other"....yet you named ONE primary reason? And didn't even mention any way to remove it. What is the "other" in this scenario? What is the strategy? How in the world does anonymity play any kind of role? Last edited by Mousa_GGG on Mar 23, 2024, 8:12:01 PM

"who cares? if it became account or even character bound the prices will level with it. also AH in LA is trash lmao x'D unlocking to trade certain/buy things is just plain horrid x'D not what a AH is suppose to do to begin with lmao x'D "Now all that's left is for you getting on your knees."
if you know thanks me:) i'm dying to find out x'D
" What in the world does this mean? If it becomes account/character bound....the price and value immediately stops moving right then and there. How would the price "level with it" when you can't resell it? In that system, the moment you buy an item it becomes 100% worthless. Zero trade value. For the sellers of that item when not bound, the value only ever falls Last edited by jsuslak313 on Mar 23, 2024, 8:28:58 PM

" That is the smallest problem with LA AH.
For those that have asked how TF. It is simple economics. The maker of a basic widget usually has no idea or ability to control who buys their product. They may have some ability to control the price. A real economy sees attempts to corner the market and gouge prices and routes around or fixes it through regulation. The problem with these little arpg micromarkets is that their is none of the normal economic balances and controls. Therefor you would either have to limit trading, shut it down completely, or find a way to make it so the market can keep the price fixers and RMT at bay. No control of if their product is purchased if they ship it somewhere for sale means the price fixers can't manipulate the market, they also will not be able to corner the market for items if not everything available is visible to everyone all the time, the 100 % anonymous trade means no IRL connection to make IRL $$$.
