All of these people crying like the above while saying: "listen to your community", do not represent all of the community.
Just because the loud minority doesn't recognize the echo-chamber they've build for themselves, doesn't mean they are in the majority.

I personally am looking forward to get to try some of the stuff I know works on league start, but haven't yet played.

... and also, the end-game just became SO much more customizable with some of those keystones, and I'm especially hyped for SSF/PL, as they give a lot of choice.

Vengeant Cascade was carrying a very weak archetype - that's why most people started using bows etc again - because VC actually made it viable for many people.

What a load of BS.

- TS has been around forever and will continue to be after this.
- LA was already strong before, and will continue to be strong even with the nerf (removal) of VC.
- SST saw a huge rise, but most of that can be attributed to the crazy shields available from Crucible.
- MS got the support gem now, which albeit isn't great for the above 3 builds, is still insane for the way MS works.

These have been some of the most dominating builds this league, and I suspect we'll still see plenty in the top in 3.22.

Your post is a good example of what I tried to highlight.
It seems that people want you to nerf other people's shit, just not their own.

Not sure if it's hypocrisy, but everyone surely believe they are in the majority. We're probably all in the minority compared to the vast silent player base out there.

Im not even remotely surprised by this. What actually shocks me is that a lot of people actually thought that GGG would change their ways.

After all this time this is what players get... more nerfs and more ascendancies DESTROYED. Chieftain, Guardian and Gladiator are by far the worst 3 classes in the game and GGG made Guardian and Chieftain even worse.

Minions are still trash unless you want to invest mirrors to play golems or anything that is not SRS or skelly mages.

Welcome to another bow-tornado-LA-ice shot/COC ice spear/RF league .
Again the top 4 ascendancies will be : Deadeye, Pathfinder, Occultist and Juggernaut.

Guardian is literally far better now, idk what are you talking about. And we didn't even see the new minions in action, so it could be even better.
Heck, you didn't even play with the new support gems.

Classic case of someone that likes to talk smack and throw rocks for no reason.

Can we get details on Tawhoa, Forest's Strength? How it works with Ancestral Call/Fist of War? What's the cooldown on it if any? Are the damage numbers the same?

Edit: Says the Player who played srs, boneshatter and lightning arrow this league fml. Double Standards. At least I tried Hexblast Ignite and Poison Storm rain on an Ascendant.

The player who just said he was happy with the meta, and that he like to try more of the current meta builds that he hasn't tried? Yes, I guess he did ;)
I question my decision about playing this league. It does not seem to be interesting season.
Hehe RIP Ruthless :D
Dear GGG, I know you don't care about player concerns but your beloved streamers dislike the patchnotes as well.

Are you brain dead? What new minions? THERE ARE NO NEW MINIONS, and even if they add new minions the old ones are pure garbage because of all the nerfs they got. Spectres are DEAD all the old ones at least, zombies and golems awful unless you invest like 3 mirrors for gear to make them viable for endgame content. Guardian is better? What drugs are you on???WTF are you talking about??? Guardian is literally 50% worse then it was for any role you want to use him.

Are you that stupid? In what imaginary universe do you live in that you think that;

Harmony of Purpose: No longer provides "Nearby Enemies cannot gain Power, Frenzy or Endurance Charges", "You and nearby Party Members Share Power, Frenzy and Endurance Charges" or "20% chance to gain a Power, Frenzy or Endurance Charge on Hit"

is not better then

"Linked Targets and Allies in your Link Beams have +5% to all Maximum Elemental Resistances", "Enemies in your Link Beams cannot apply Elemental Ailments" and "Enemies in your Link Beams have -20% to all Elemental Resistances." The small Ascendancy Passive Skill prior no longer provides 15% increased Endurance, Frenzy and Power Charge Duration. It now provides "Link Skills have 5% increased Buff Effect".

Or Unwavering Faith: No longer provides "Auras from your Skills grant +1% Physical Damage Reduction to you and Allies" or "Auras from your Skills grant 0.2% of Life Regenerated per second to you and Allies" is not better then

Instead, it now provides "Auras from your Skills grant 5% increased Recovery Rate of Life, Mana and Energy Shield to you and Allies".

Go back to Diablo 4. POE is not for you.
No changes to the meta, new dearborn league for 5 month.
BTW no one cares about ruthless. Stop updating it and focus on actual game...

To everyone here saying there are more changes to ruthless than base game:
Read the actual patchnotes instead of counting the lines. The ruthless balance changes are basically just taking the red marker and deleting everything from all ascendencys and new atlas passives that seems remotely powerful.

How is that dedicating more time to ruthless than the base game, when the actual basegame changes include a dozen Atlas keystones, support gems, two ascendency reworks, a whole league mechanic, new uniques, and so on? Get a grip.

@Chris Wilson: Can Ruthless please drop more orbs of unmaking? If i made the wrong decisions with my first atlas passives it basically completely bricks the tree for the whole league, because you can easily end up with a tree that doesnt allow you to get to yellow maps. Even better than that tho would be if we could no longer trade regrets for alchs, and instead trade scours for alch directly and have regrets droprate buffed. That is because they have alot of important uses, most importantly reseting gem levels to one, so one can reuse valuable support gems and auras for leveling new characters. This whole thing is my major pain with ruthless, as it actively discourages experimentation.

+1 honestly

But is it a big development time to add some keystones, nuke 2 ascendancy, legion and implement new gems? For 4 months it isn't. In 3 months GGG was able:

Create mechanics which people like (Expedition).
Create mechanics, which people hate (Archnemesis).
Made big meta shifts (Mana and flask changes in Expedition).
Made big farming shifts (Archnemesis new Atlas tree introduction).

And what did we have for last 3 leagues with 4 month cycle?
One good league mechanic (Sanctum)
One crazy crafting mechanic (Crucible)
A lot of shit staff (nuked beyond, still fixes to Archnemesis in core, etc.)
Nuked Harvest (again).
Exalt\Divine glorious swap.
Unique items mostly gone to trash, while being there already.
A lot of unique jewels are gone or corrupt only.
Nerfs to atlas tree, because they gave too much money.

And for this league additionally:
Nerf Legion, because people are whining (Harvest vibes again).
Mechanic which is not that interesting for many people (I am sure, much more people played dungeon crawling and rogue-like games compared to autobattlers).
Huge Ruthless patch release (because Ruthless is a side project, yeah).
Some new gems and almost no current gem changes.
Again, nuked 2 ascendancies.

Are we sure that 4 months lifecycle is healthy for a standard game and development is focused there?

GGG made much more staff before Ruthless. So I don't believe and don't take such shit as "Ruthless patch notes are about red markers".

Take into account that there was Exilecon prep, there was demos prep, there was actually 95% resources allocated to PoE2
