What Happened with Items

So you are now sextupling down. Thanks for the accidental fun since 3.19 - 3.13/3.14 from when I first joined. I'll still lurk but I am not supporting any of this horse shit any more.

Im getting nervous when i read all those posts about quitting, wrong culture of changes etc. while most of you ppl dont see the big thing.

Hard to understand for me how hard some of you guys are.

When there are changes - u dont like them because they are too less or too much.

Every new league content needed to get fixed or workaround on every league i played the last years.

Every league there is always the same talk in the forum.

Maybe u guys are exhausted from corona, from the weather (i have 30°C in my room - hard to play more then 2 or 3h for me atm without getting washed off my couch) and maybe the complete situation around us is hard to accept or still hard to manage for our mind.

Dont wanna fight u guys, but maybe its time to seperate our whole situation from a game. Maybe its time to not see a game as the whole thing.

Play the game - have fun with it. Its fresh to not play the same game every league. its diffrent its new. and if i do not have around 10 drops from a monster, 80% of the other players dont have these drops too.

That Ppl chris mentioned dropping a lot of currency in full juiced maps, 6 ppl parties - i dont care and chris should not even care too. There will always be that 1% that will play the game beyond limits.

Its like the job u all have. If you do smth 8h or more per day u will eventually get perfect in that thing. And i thing that that 1% are those ppl playing that game as a job. If you dont play that game as ur job - u wont get even near those ppl. and thats ok because this game allows you to play it without being perfect.

Dont watch those youtube videos of full 80ex invest autombombers while they tell you its a low budget league starter with oneshotting uber serious out of oriath.

clear ur mind and begin to play this game as a game.

When did u guys stopped playing a computergame for fun?

I've tried playing these last few days on both PC and console. The game is still pretty fun and I didn't notice any drop in rewards at all. But I'm a casual gamer and have never used the full potential from the advanced crafting methods.
Maybe Harvest also deserves an explanation and possible fix and gradually developers and players can get into harmony.

So we are still left with absolutely no loot until we get ridiculously lucky &/or we all run around in our build completely scuffed to include rarity on the off chance we get an archnemesis monster that drops some currency - awesome!

But where do I find the currency to buy said rarity gear & how do I add it to my build so it doesn't entirely ruin it?

Literally your philosophies Chris are ruining the game don't you get it ? players that have been playing for many many years are done playing because of your philosophies aren't you done yet? i mean come on POE was on amazing place before this changes Archnemesis, crafting, loot changes were NOT necessary i'm not really sure how it is "Fun" for you guys that ur saying u play the game to struggle for Alch/Vaal orbs in order to complete the Atlas, REVERT the crap changes you people did and everyone will be happy, at the end of the day who gonna donate/buy anything if game is disliked... ??? have u though about that? you guys are making big mistake, half of the population quitted because of Chris's philosophies....

For regular players who are just alching their maps and adding difficulty where they feel they can handle it, we think that drops are in a pretty good place after this week's changes. They should have been like this at release, and I am deeply sorry that they were not.

Then why have I only found 2 vaal orbs in my last 4 hours of playtime playing t14+ maps ? why have I only dropped 1 unique map after 30+ hours of mapping and also why am I still starved in maps ... i can barely stay in t14+ maps right now cuz I dont drop any while during other leagues I was mass hoarding them and giving them to my friends fo free ... Currency and maps drops are NOT even close from fine right now !!

As someone playing casually, mostly a week or two on league start, I don't feel like the Loot on Alc Maps is roughly the same. To get enough currency to support the Gear I need, I had to run Heist, which is insanely consistent with Loot.

Aside from the loot, I feel like one point hasn't been touched: Survivability of Minions.

I had a good time leveling my Absolution Necromancer that later switched to Carrion Golems. Upon reaching Maps, blue groups are repeatedly killing all my minions at once, never mind the rare ones that wipe the floor with them. I understand that you need to invest more into a minion build now, but even with that, the entry into maps seems to be really harsh for minion builds. And on top of that, there are plenty of reports of Players playing red tier Maps with their highly tanks Summons being killed in seconds.

I have fun with other builds now, especially after farming currency in Heist, but mapping seems like it isn't worth it anymore, which is a pity, because I much prefer mapping over doing Heists.

I would have much preferred the economy of the old leagues though and do less farming and more playing. I play this game for recreation, not for work. The economy in IRL is bad enough, I see no reason why inflation has to hit PoE as well -_-

Are we still going to get 1 alch orb in 10 maps? How do you think we are going to run maps in this situation, when we can't even get the bare minimum for them? Sell full inventory of rares - get 2-4 alchemy shards. WOOHOO! After running campaign maps 5 times through I can finally afford to run 1 map, then it's back to campaign.

It pains me to say this, but it seems that the game will continue to die, maybe this time it really is time to look for another game for timekeeping and stop playing poe altogether

Doesn't fix at the first place the trust issues that your Community have towards you. You wonder why the People just like that XD

You deserve every single Point of Blame same as for your Company.
You guys do that for a Long time now without any real Consequences ;)


Sadly i have to say that but this Game have to Suffer. Otherwise i dont see any lesson you can reveive from us...
