[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
I wouldn't use the AG with Ubers, that's for sure. They hit too hard and with too many stacking degens.
Losing the 7% and +int ring was taken into consideration in my "10% more damage" test. Essentially, I removed a ring from the PoB and added the bonuses to custom modifiers to take a look at the stats change. Not a perfect test. Ghazzy's guide seems to suggest it's doable with no other investment (he's the minions streamer), but I've never tested it myself. Right now the only Standard Trade WI trickster I've got are from Kalandra and Sanctum, under the non crit version. Next time I build one in trade league, I'll try it out and report back. Seems like a neat idea to add some change into the build, I wonder how is the tankiness of the AG with that setup. |

" I don't see any good use for banners with this build. A tiny bit of extra defense with Defiance Banner doesn't even justify using a gem socket for it. You can get something more useful instead.
By the way Kelvynn, reservation enchants on helm can replace the upgrade to Enlighten 4 to drop the Charisma annoint. The cost of adding an enchant to the helm out of several possible choices is much lower than upgrading Enlighten 3 to 4 when working on high-end stuff. It can help with gearing, especially on self-crafted helmet, where you can buy a pre-enchanted base right at the start for 15-20C.

Hi, maybe I am misunderstanding leech mechanics but isn't it good to take ghost reaver for one point to double our %es leech/sec and to take the bottom nodes on etheral feast cluster?
| |
" Ghost Reaver will give you more leech/second, but turn off your natural ES regen. It is a good node. Kelvynn's current version has enough tankiness to not need the extra leech, so they opted for the natural regen instead. It makes a difference mostly when bossing, as most bosses have invulnerability phases during which you can take damage but cannot leech effectively. Things like Exarch fiery balls phase, for example, is made more difficult with Ghost Reaver. As for Ethereal Feast, going through the top nodes saves a skill point. The reason why 80% leech per second can be better than two 15% max total leech per second is that we're using the instant leech mastery, which means that having some increases to total leech per second will regenerate more ES on hit. Basically, we're choosing between two skill points for more leech/second or one skill point for more on-hit leech. |

is this build good for delving?

" The only two viable choices are 30% MRE for Hatred or Purity. Unless you get very lucky, Enlighten 4 is easier to obtain. I would not trust my finished high end helmet to some stranger selling the enchant. Crafting on an enchanted base is an option, if you can get your hands on one. But the market there is very small.
" Leech Math < here The extra 14% leech from Ghost Reaver proved to be completely not worth it in 3.21. On the other hand, the recharge is nice and useful in many uber boss fights.
" Depends on what you mean by it. If you want to go to infinite depths and farm fossils then there are specialized builds that just don't get hit. If you mean playing the normal way and just going to 300+ to find some fossils and bosses for their loot then this build is fine for that. In the old leagues I've gone to high depths just for fun. Also done an SSF event with super gimp gear. I haven't gone too deep in the recent leagues, but around 500 was just fine with the Trickster. Last edited by Kelvynn on Aug 18, 2023, 1:58:37 PM
