[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything
Yeah I meant for mapping. There's a couple of commenters who mentionned they were using alternate setups to try and get more damage for very high-end mapping (including the Herald setup), hence my idea with Blood Rage.

Build updated for 3.22
No major changes, just some small adjustments based on how things worked in 3.21. Dropped Arcane Surge. Mana is only an issue while leveling. After the uber lab, around lv 75-80, it's not needed anymore. Dropped Frost Bomb / PWoC. Cold exposure is very minor compared to other things this build uses now. Good options for the free sockets: - Frost Shield (damage reduction and extra crits) - Unbound Ailments (more damage via the Vortex/Bonechill debuff) - Blood Rage (more damage for mapping) - Culling Strike (until you get it on forbidden jewels) - Portal (QoL) At the high levels (94+) there are several options to switch between every time you level. Read the notes in PoB. Import your character and see which combination of those nodes gives you the most damage with your particular items and available skill points.
I was hoping for some extra damage for bossing. Map was never a problem for me with this build, but boss damage was a bit lacking, even tho defenses are great. Even with the Crucible perfect staff and everything, was taking too long to kill some bosses...
Thanks for the hard work Kelvynn!
just a thought... when crafting the gear, if a player has the option and ability to run labs, grab this belt enchant to tie in with the unnerve from the gloves
i think it ties in nicely with the crit build poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

" Good find! There are only 15 belt enchantments, shouldn't be hard to get that one. Dedication to the Goddess is cheap. This build can pretty much ignore everything in the lab, just cyclone thru all rooms and delete Izaro.
Hear me out on this one.
I've taken the high-end PoB to work with this idea. What if we used a Hungry Loop to get an Animate Guardian? You eat up Empower, Minion Life Support, Elemental Army Support and Meat Shield Support. You use a Divergent Animate Guardian gem. Equipment : - Kingmaker - Gruthkul Pelt - Leer Cast - Southbound - Legacy of fury The AG should be super tanky with the support gems and Southbound + Gruthkul. It gives us : - 10 fortification - Culling Strike - About 10% more damage than the high-end ring from the PoB - Easy Exposure application - Scorched enemies - 30% increased item rarity It seems worth it, though it would put some pressure on suffixes to get anough resistances. |

" it would be difficult for some but i have zero resistances on my rings lol however, i would have to find a source for strength or dexterity AND, i already have that exact hungry loop if you are in standard and want to test this, i can let you use the ring or anything else i might have for testing stuff if you don't have it. i do have an older skelemage necro build i can rob stuff from as it used to be an uber farmer a few leagues ago until it got nerfed i also use delve gloves to give the AG corrupted blood immunity as that alone can be a huge qol for it. plus i add the intimidate mod on them but not sure if that part works or not poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead Last edited by spaceace7373 on Aug 17, 2023, 7:12:50 AM

What happens when AG dies? Do you just lose all those items? Does it die every time you do? I recall hearing a lot of complaints about uber pinnacle bosses killing high end AG too easily, and that's with dedicated minion builds.
Maxing resists without 1 ring would be painful. Sounds like a lot of trouble for a small gain, if that even works. Somebody in Standard should try it and see how Uber Sirus or Uber Exarch goes with it.
If we get a good helm enchant with mana reservation reduction to Purity of elements or hatred, and an enlighten gem, coudlnt we potentially get a useful banner aura?
| |
" now that we can put resist on body armor, belt. i would say it won't be that difficult. however losing end-game 7% int ring won't be nice. personally i am more interested in figureing out a way to add minion based aura in the build. that would be cool. just to be clear minion based aura = aura that your minion activate and you get it.
