Most senseless way you've hurt yourself?
I mean, I was 7. I'm not sure you can call vehicular accidents at 7 'senseless'. Even now, some people don't wear helmets when cycling. Some people ride on the wrong side of the road. Some people don't always pay attention when approaching an intersection going downhill.
But when you're 7 and you do ALL of those, you're probably just rolling the dice. Sooner or later someone's going to make a left-hand turn into the hill and send you flying. If you're lucky, you'll just get a broken leg. I was lucky. Funny part, I suppose it's funny, was the driver tried to sue for damages on their car. Had they just been turning, perhaps they'd have had a case...but the damage they were claiming proved they were actually making an illegal U-Turn at a T-intersection. We all do it from time to time, but it's still illegal and probably not going to help you win a damages case against a 7 year old on a bike. That and they drove a Volvo, which, back in the 80s, was just Australian code for 'uppity wanker' anyway. My folks didn't get theirs until a few years later. ^_^ https://linktr.ee/wjameschan -- everything I've ever done worth talking about, and even that is debatable.

A combination of me being stupid and wearing shorts while chopping wood and the axe bouncing off in a really, REALLY unfortunate angle resulted in it cutting into my leg slightly below the knee. Luckily it was a clean cut, so not too troublesome to get fixed, but it sure was one dumb injury.
Edit: No bones were hurt in the making of said cut. Fortunately. That could've gotten UGLY. I make dumb builds, therefore I am. Last edited by FCK42 on May 11, 2022, 5:40:16 PM

This thread is like the Daytime Darwin Awards. All the real winners can be found in the 'in memoriam' segment during the real show later tonight.

As a drunken student I once slid down a wooden bannister wearing threadbare shorts and got a 4 inch splinter of wood embedded in my abdomen that took multiple surgeries to remove
