Game Balance in Path of Exile: Expedition

Oh Shit. Nice to see some nerfs for Powercreep. There is still more Finetuning to be done, but making the Game "slower"/"harder" is a good direction.

By the way: Is there any way to implement all "mandatory" threshold jewels as Quest reward, for example the Glacial Hammer one?
Perfect, now make crafting actually fun and fix performance and we'll have the perfect game.
Yes
Keep the nerfs coming. Me gusta.
After years of playing poe I think flask change is one of the worst changes I've ever seen. I can't even explain the disappointment I had when Chris was talking about the reason for not fixing trade or when a list of the "meta" skills was mentioned. I really like poe. It's a great game that gives a very unique experience that you can not find from any other game, but I can't continue to support it when the game developers don't have a clue of what they are doing.
I like the idea of the patch. I like the idea, that a monsters abilities maybe mean something again and that you might not mindlessly zoom around. Basically nothing mean anything in this game anymore. As long as a build was good, you can use anything and do exactly the same .. run around and push a button. Fire, Cold, Poison, explosions, hits ... it's all nearly the same with different FX. Same with drops .. Chests .. etc .. nothing means anything, everything drops random stuff. Early Beta had you happy with a nice rare ... nowadays a Blight Map drops so much stuff on you that it's downright ridiculous.

Yes I'm pro those changes .. I'll be angry, but happy :)
Kurz Kippen holn
Finally zoom zoom die
Now we get what poe was in 2013 :)
Slower/harder
Time to Die alot again
do u remember how they told "we nerfed ascendancies but boosted craft so its even" in 3.13 right?
the moment is coming when the only players of this game will be cringe wilson himself and his chingchong masters from tencent.
lol k ggg, gl with that
When fallacious arguments aren't convincing comes the biased moderation.

With the changes to the Diamond Flask, we didn't want the Sulfur Flask to be the best critical strike flask, so enemies on Consecrated Ground no longer have additional base chance to be critically hit.

Does this change apply to consecrated ground across the board, or just to consecrated ground that came from the flask?
