It is. Especially in comparison with high clear speed builds.

i wouldn't say its all that slow, with the increased unleash seal gain frequency from cluster jewel/doedre gloves you can cast pretty frequently, and 1 cast will 1 shot almost anything. also with increased aoe and awakened spell cascade each cast clears a pretty big area. you do have to stop moving each time to cast though.

the single target damage is really good, bosses die very quickly.

How fast the build goes is up to you.
You want more clear and movement speed = get more AOE, cast speed and use max speed flasks.
It goes up to whole screen clear AOE with 300% movement speed.

Need help with my build. I put around 30 ex into this. I seem to not be able to sustain life that well when fighting bosses. Is there something I am missing?

Also, is there anything apparent that is wrong with my build? Anything I should change asap?

I maybe should have been more clear in the first post.

When you take Atziri's Promise, you should not take Brutality.
You should be using Empower.
Right now if you don't do chaos damage, you don't get normal leech and brutality makes you not do chaos damage : >

It's either

1) Brutality and damage %( not attack damage) leech jewellery or enchants
or
2) Empower & Atziri's promise or any type of damage which you do leech.
