Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting

Previous post removed by support, so I will be more gentle now, hopefully should be OK.

GGG are visibly glad to gamble their long-time supporters and ignoring all feedback on this topic, killing their league retention rate and ensuring indefinite uninstalls.

Since support is monitoring this closely, I would like to reiterate that whenever someone treats their customers like gambling addicted apes, they lose them.

I for one am thankful that this decision was taken, it resulted in breaking me out of a 7-year POE binge to start working on more productive things in my life rather than this slot machine game. Not getting a single dime from me anymore.

i played ritual league from start to end and i can say it was enjoyable. harvest was a huge help to me even though i was not able to complete the challenge and i wasn't able to play every content or end game boss content. i was still happy with what i end up having on my character.
Ultimatum came.. only tried playing for 4 hours got my character to lvl 20. I watched videos and read from forums about the new changes in the game. i did not expect harvest to be so useless with the way they say they are making changes. but listening to the popular guys who plays the game for a living made me realize the game is not worth playing anymore. until things gets better for players again. i will play. i do not like playing for 3-4 months and still have mediocre items. unable to really do all end game content without using the meta build most players are using. glad they made the change in harvest, i was about to buy packs but since i am nto playing the new league i am skipping or will not be spending anymore on the game.

Played Ultimatum until I hit the first encounter. Nah, a repackaged ritual. Done.
Planned to buy some stashes but lost motivation. Maybe until next time...

Back to hibernation.

Played this game and spended some money. I was so happy when the harvest league came and I finally got interested in crafting. When harvest doesn't comes back with the annul modifier in a usable way, then I see no reason to spend time and money in the next season. I wanted to buy more stashes and pets this season but this just demotivated me.

What i really dont like is this gambling .
I try all the time to get my friends to play this game with me.
Its really awesome what your devs did there.
The mechanics of developing your own Skills is incredeble.

But no one wants to play this with me because of your item policy.


I study informatic so as u could guess most of my friends use the pc quite a lot.
A really funny part is when u are able to craft your own stuff.
Especially if you have such a horrible trading site.

Explain me wheres the fun in writing 10 people, switch all the time the tab, copy the message and go back in game.


And on top its really buggy:
POE fills my graphiycard to 100%
If any other program trys to use my graphic ram, then rip
give me at least 5 to 10% air for other applications like windows explorer.

When i switch between trading site and poe my pc crashes 1 of 5 times.

So you wont give us a normal trading system. Ok, at least i can craft by myself some small stuff.


So now i need to spend so much more time to buy all the ressources i need in order to craft even small stuff and use the trading site even more what makes the gameflow so much worse.

I'll stop at this point and wait for the next league.

If theres still no deterministic crafting, then ill cleanup some space.

Just realized I burned out again.
See y'all in a year or so, whenever I feel like it.

Used to play every league, but with Harvest gutted like this, honestly it's better to only touch the game once a year and skip 3-4 leagues at a time.

The time GGG expects people to sink into the atlas is insane. I don't care about all these conquerers, maven and her little hypeman envoy, or the shaper&elder for that matter. I only really care about running a few nice maps, but the lower tier map choice this league sucks, jeez. Just give me some low tier Mesa or Vault and I'm happy. Also a map based on the ledge tileset at daytime would be dope.

I agree with ya man. Why players should want to kill all hi level bosses? For what reason? For what point?

➥ Bosses gives NO valuable drop most of the time
➥ High chance to die and lose 10% exp. for not superskillfull players
➥ It's not fun to die))

⊳⊳⊳ TOP reasons why players want deterministic craft (3.13 or 3.10 Harvest):
➥ players want to improve thier gear
➥ players want to improve thier gear
➥ players want to improve thier gear
➥ players DON't like when their characters becomes weaker with each new league
