Take it. It's yours. But Harvest? Harvest I will burn to the ground. Perhaps the suffering of our fellow players will finally stir something. I've read quite a few of these posts and I can't help laugh every time I read one saying I support these changes I don't craft so these changes don't affect me at all.... All I want to ask these players is Oh Really your build is 100% uniques? What they don't seem to understand is without harvest the price of those rares they needed for their builds are going to go up in price simply economics. A massive upgrade for your build with harvest in the league can start around a couple of exalt and go up from there, sky is the limit depending on the item. Without harvest your looking at a RNG wall for good / decent items and the values of these items goes up accordingly IE those 10ex gloves that upgraded your build by 8% dmg 3rd week last league are gonna be 50ex next league. I basically quit after Harvest League ended because PoE without deterministic crafting is less appealing to me.. I was hoping PoE2 has a revamped crafting system, but this post makes me less optimistic. I think the better answer would be to remove Harvest and combine the crafts into Essences or the Crafting Table somehow.
Deterministic crafting gives you goals and actual progression for your build, and more personal/emotional INVESTMENT in your character.. without it, the game is bland and you reroll much sooner, and get burned out and quit a league earlier. had to leave my comment here on how disappointed I am with ggg. this harvest was so amazing for crafting great items that made it where every player could enjoy crafting and high end item with out needing to farm mirrors.... we have spent over $200 on mtx between me and my spouse this last month but I'm here to tell you if you gut harvest this badly we wont be spending any money on mtx. Next league would have to have something really awesome to keep me playing.

Terrible change. Crafting by chaos spam or slamming exalts is awful. I'm not even sure why it's called "Crafting", it's gambling. Devs need to actually try playing the game.
Harvest crafting was one of the best additions to the game in a long time, solely because it made crafting and character progression much smoother. |

Console player already have it rough, remove harvest and you might as well remove POE from the playstore.

Remove SSF servers too and just launch a casino, since we cant craft anymore and are back to gambling. | |

I really do hope they don't just go into full stubborn "now we gotta show that we stick to our vision and won't be swayed by community pressure, or they're just gonna complain and threaten to quit even more in the future, whenever we make unpopular decisions" mode, but really do consider to find a better way to reach their goals with this.
All we see however is, the most controversial dev. manifesto in the games history, and the devs know that's all the community talks about, it vanishes from the front page in less then 24h and disappears from all official news feeds THEY give us. What we CAN see is just full corpo damage control by the book. Hope they grow tired, this blows over and as few people as possible hear of it at all. Now I do wonder if they decide to go through with this, if they also have the audacity to not even announce it with the next patch notes and next league changes, but pretend this didn't even happen when people come back to prepare for the next league, as to not rekindle the outrage before league start.
