Bossing is also not easy. So there might be Heist, but none of the builds seem to have a trinket or anything else Heist related, like shield charge for extra speed or a decoy totem or whatever. This leaves me with the question how you can make profit even if you nolife the first few days :D.

From my experience:

Heist:
- Flame Dash / Phasing / Frost (depends what you like - in Heist, if you feel confident, Frost is best - you blinky-blink through the area)
- Frost Wall in Cast When Stunned is nice in Heist (blocks dmg spam when doors open)

Delve:
- Phasing, avoid Rhoa nests event
- Frost Wall can be handy in some situations, I did not used it in Delve

Strongboxes (with all atlas Passives):
- all corrupted and unidentified, so you need to be extra carefull (before getting a little more tanky) - corpses explosion will RIP you at this stage, some Death Balls too

Essences:
- activate, dash away for extra safety

Harbringers:
- the easiest content, even without much tankiness

My Atlas Tree strategy (mapping start, resource gathering and completition stage):
- Essence + Strongbox nodes (1 point to get there, 6 points of investment)
- 2x Kirac Atlas scouting reports (you use them or sell in bulk)
- Essence node (left) - more essences
- Harbringer node on the right (guaranteed Harbringer)
- (optional) Essence node on the left (more essence drop)
- Harbringer node (going up and right) - more harbringers, better drop
- Strongbox nodes (going up and left)
- Harbringer node (going up from Strongbox) - Harbringer boss, more harbringers
- Essence node (going up and right from Strongbox) - higher Essence level
- Essence node (going left) - more Essence
- (optional) passive Delve suphite gain for map completition (right from 3rd Harbringer node)
- Strongbox (going top right) - more special Strongboxes
- (optional) passive Syndicate gain for map completition (top-right)

After some time I remove Essences or Harbringers to get Passive Maven completition (chance for additional boss witnessed), Shaper/Elder maps and EoW boss Altars.

We will see how much Atlas Tree will be nerfed :D. But planing atlas strat is much more enjoyable then making a phd theocrafting builds or crafting items.
Thank you for the insights. So you basically earn enough in the early game to progress through the build with basic atlas strats.

Currently I 5 orb deli to farm and think it is some of the best strats, but naturally you cannot do this early game :D. I switched over when my atlas was already maxed out, so I could not experience if it is a struggle at first or not.
Hey. I`m playing this build for a couple of weeks. Looks pretty decent, but i have a problem. My mana is kind of either leeched or taken before energy shield
when hit. Is that possible ?
Hey.

This is a very, very tanky build with enough DPS.

Sharing mine:

Question: What can I work on to perfect this ? I have about 80 ex sitting in stash, so I wonder what can I spend this on ? I have tried Maven 5 times unsuccessfully :( And I while I have enough frags for uber I didnt try him yet.

This is the first build I've tried Maven and will try Uber on.

Elder/Shaper/Sirus (especially Sirus) fights are a joke using builds. I can pretty much stand in 1 space and dont bother avoiding anything while fighitng Sirus and never die =)

Your build looks pretty good, and Maven is more about learning the memory game and putting degens in the middle than anything else. A few improvements I saw you can do are:

1) I don't see Vaal molten shell anywhere in your build. This is super important to buffing your defense. Try to get in there. Your can drop the Circle of nostalgia that doesn't have increased damage, and switch in a unset ring with energy shield, curse on hit (enfeeble or despair) and missing attributes.

Grace or Determination on your Aegis would also free up a skill slot.

2) It look like your Agony Crawler is at lvl 30. Get it to lvl 31 by pathing up to take Chaos Master +1 gem levels. I see 2 atlas passives your can refund, a +10 strength near the Templar starting node, and the mastery that gives +20 life/mana on block, this does next to nothing for the build.
If you need a few levels to get this done, an awakened added fire damage will do the job in the meantime.

3) You have a bit invested into freeze immunity. This might be better spent if you just took the soul of the brine king.

4) If you wanna spent big $$$ on the build, Chromino says the Forbidden Flesh/Flame with Sanctuary of Thought is good for the build. Let's just say he downplays how great it really is. Only problem is the pair is on par in price with a head hunter, so its not for everybody.

Good Luck!

Thank you very much for the feedback ! I do appreciate it greatly.

1) CoN being replaced by unset ring is doable, i think. Do you think it will be preferable to just getting Determination (or, perhaps Grace ?) in Aegis ? Seems like this is the next upgrade. Also, I am not 100% sure how to use v.molten shell. Do i use it in CWS set up ? I can just move the mark away from there or do I use it manually ? When do I use regular vs vaal ?

2) When you say +10 str node next to templar start, you mean to just take +10 str nodes over Armor/Es nodes ? In this case should I keep the Sanctity node.
Also, awa fire damage over damage on full life ? do you thing that damage on full life @ HoA L30 is worse off HoA L31 and Awa Fire ?

3) Ehhh... maybe you are right. But should I do with the build with opened up space ?

4) 80 ex is probably the most I've ever had, I am still a newb. "headhunter" level gear I can only dream of :)

1) You can easily do both. Get an aura on your Aegis, and use an unset ring. The unset ring with a curse on hit should be less expensive, but sometimes you can find a well-priced aura aegis. Once you get the curse ring, you can spec out of serpentine spell slinger and move up into the curse mastery. But I have found that Sniper's mark is only necessary for a very few end game boss fights.
I put molten shell on my left mouse button, so that it is up 50% of the time without thinking about it. And use Vaal molten shell self-cast against bosses and when i get swarmed.

2) I personally like the energy shield/armour nodes over the attribute nodes at the start of the Templar wheel (I might change my mind later). What I was saying was that it looked like you had a random +10 strength node allocated for no reason.

3)If you go soul of the brine king, I would change your basalt flask to a masochist's flask that removes ignite.

4) I feel you, I sold a huge ring this season (more than I have every total playing off and on for 7 years!). That's why I have been able to take this build pretty deep. But the good thing is, the build is strong enough to farm anything you want to in the game, so every investment will pay itself back as long as you keep grinding.

I know I'm not @ 100% strength, so if anyone wants to look over my build, I am open to suggestions. Thanks.

I haven't played in a few last leagues, and it's also my first time using this build and it's been quite fun. I was reading this guide already during scourge and I think I've seen the last 100 pages at least, and there is some stuff I've experiemented or came across with that I haven't seen mentioned.

I've had some people tell me directly, and also seen some mentions here about them disliking or having trouble with spawning spiders, or just in general wanting it to be more 'automated'. I myself don't like cyclone on this build and so ended up trying out various alternative combinations, and what started out as a half joke has now been my main skill link for the past few weeks.
More than once I've been spotted on poe.ninja and people have asked me about the link so I'll post about it here.

Currently I am using eye of winter+storm burst+cwc+culling strike. It's brains-off, more reliable, and easier to raise spiders with this set up than (non-channeling) BL+storm brand combo in my opinion. The projectiles behind you don't travel far but it's almost an 360 skill combo, and if you randomly do a little spin while summoning I'll be damned if you fail to raise spiders from a full jar.

As a bonus if your poison % allows it, using culling strike in the link transforms triad grips to a miniature Gravebind! True QoL effect that often let's you forget you even have the jar equipped outside arena encounters. I've done delves, temples, the first 20 and over waves of simulacrum et cetera with mouse only never touching desecrate or the jar with near constant spiders up.
Basically you just spam eye of winter and sort of target your hits on top of that when needed with storm burst. You can keep up 60/65/70 virulences steadily in crowds and most importantly in single targets without gem swaps (ofc still swap in multistrike and vile toxins if/when needed). I've seen strom burst praised here before, but afaik people have just swapped it in for bosses or used it with BL.

I have yet to gain zero spiders from a full jar with any given amount (or lack) of focus and situation with this 4L. You can also see it as another QoL option for mapping only unless you prefer the fluent instant blink movement and BL spam, but it's also all content ready set up if cwc suits your playstyle. I've done all maven arena encounters full buffed and with +2lv enemy level, 100% delirious triple beyonds, simulacrum etc with the set up. With leveled awakened cwc you can't get stun locked and virulence is capped fast on bosses.

As it also replaces storm brand you gain a hot bar slot, have one less button to press, and most importantly it frees up a passive skill from runebinder. With ES on hit on watchers eye you can often also get hits in even when you aim in the wrong direction.

As a contra you need to understand or be willing to learn boss mechanics well as you lose while-you-move-brand and need to maximize staying in place time to keep up virulence, which often isn't a tough task for this build.

Another thing I wanted to mention, is that if you want to use withering step for corruption/chaos mastery node effect (as it doesn't apply to your minions), and/or the belt enchant "enemies withered by you have -6% resistances", but have decided not to because of the shared CD with frostblink try the combination of whirling blades+withering step. I have personally permanently replaced frostblink with whirling blades wether I am using phaserun or withering step as I much prefer the shorter leap range when getting out of ground degens etc. Biggest downside here is that you can't leap over elevation obstacles like cliffs or fences with whirling blades.

Lastly I'll just mention that I've seen a handful of two-skill combo watchers eyes this league for this build with "chance to blind enemies that hit you while affected by grace" as a third skill for the same price as just the two main buffs, which is a good minor thing to put behind your ear in the future while shopping.

Thank you for the interesting build to Chromino and everyone else involved, been a fun league!
Thank you a lot too!

Very nice alternatives and it's great and most fun in poe to try out many other skills with the build too!

I check your settings later!

😀

Yes, a very smooth and interesting using of eye of the winter, but singletarget it's not fast enough for 60-70 virulences singletarget. But in maps another interesting variation!
And I like whirling blades too, but overall it's not offering so much virulences. But very interesting to try out!

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get more than 7-10 virulence against single targets even though it goes to 50+ in mapping. Damage is terrible vs. bosses and this seems to be why. Can anyone give insight? I don't have complete defences and alt quality gems but I have lvl 31 HoA. I feel like I must be missing something really obvious around the poison/virulence mechanic.

First attempt at a POB import/export it looks right though.
