Because i cant waste much time to read all previous pages, should i ask a dumb question...

If we have hydrosphere in a 6-link staff and storm burst in a 6-link chest (thus we have 2 inputs but) , in theory is this the max dps ?

yes it will be more dps than cwc link but then you will have to cast hydrosphere manually.

just don't use hydrosphere. I did some messing around in PoB and trinity + hypothermia is such a huge dps boost even without the exposure. If you want exposure that bad i think a Corrosive Elements cluster gem is a better deal.

if you really want to manually drop spheres on bosses, you could put it in a hex touch setup though. the damage it provides does not justify running a 4L storm burst.

Cast When Damage Taken Lvl 7 > Immortal Call Lvl 9 > Vaal Righteous Fire > Tempest Shield

I understand why we want to Cap "Cast when damage taken" at level 7, since we don't want the damage threshold to be too high before it gets triggered.

However, why do we want to limit Immortal Call at level 9? Does it have the same effect?
Don't we all ways have 0 lightning resonance because it's our highest damage (in regards to trinity); how do we get 50 resonance in all three stats? Or am I misreading/understanding trinity?

Read on the CWDT gem how it works.

So, I've messed around quite a bit as well. Decided to finally drop Hydrosphere and use Trinity + Hypothermia instead with wand + shield. I'd prefer to be a higher level to get a decent life pool but I don't have the patience at the moment. I like playing the most rippy mods at the moment and sometimes I die, but I'd probably die with 1k more hp as well.

At level 95 I really like this tree I've set up:

It shows me a total dps of 17 264 921 with flasks active. I've specced into Mystic Bulwark to help with the mana increase that Hypotermia brings. Sanctum of Thought also provides some defense.

Was by far the fastest and easiest Sirus kill.
