Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

I feel like I'm probably an outlier in my opinion, but I was relieved by the decision to delay. Heist isn't my favorite mechanic, but this is the first league where I have played every day since launch without taking time away to avoid burnout. By my own metrics, that means I've been having more fun this league than I've had since Incursion or so, even though I may have liked some of the other mechanics more. I've been able to take a break from the mechanic when it becomes repetitive and play a large amount of the other content in the game to further my progression, and I think that has been key.

The extra time will allow me to take some time away from PoE prior to the 3.13 launch to make sure I'm fresh and not risking burnout. Since Abyss I've dreaded the December launches due to the lack of rapid support from GGG. I know you all need your time off and would never hold that against you, but the difference in patch time for annoying issues is tangible for that reason. I have a sense of relief for 3.13 that any issues will be patched quickly like any non-holiday release, and I'm happy that I can keep grinding Heist knowing that I have time to take a break and still get hyped for 3.13.

Anyway I just wanted to comment to show my support of this bold move. Maybe if you're feeling super awful about it you could drop some PoE2 sneak peeks on us as a Christmas present xD

2020 was all about to make something out of a bad situation, or just choose the least sucky option.
if you made this decision which could not be easy, i am quite sure:

good post, i am still a bit dismayed that you chose this though.
But i am looking forward to see what you bring us in the long wait.

It is either 2 reasons
1. Devs want to play Cyberpunk and don't have time to PoE
2. They bending over and using CP as a reason, but what is the next game they will pause the League or delay next expansion for? If they do it on CP then they will use it for every major game release...

Bad move and this is one reason i being thinking to leave PoE even if I don't want to but i cant thrust them in teh future.

I am not in agree to this but it's GGG choise and right to do what ever they want with it.
