Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

Well, New Year's eve always was my favourite time to play a fresh poe league, and i dont care about cyberpunk at all, but i respect honest words in this message, so i'm OK with it.
Dude you're the best. No matter what's going on I have never felt like you didn't care about us. You must care deeply to put out such wonderful content each league despite reddit.

After this messed up year I am sure everyone needs to recharge. I am stoked for the next league from a refreshed crew and would rather have that. I might just pause my addiction to the heist and finish my Atlas with the extra time.

While you are making your list and Bex is checking it twice for fun things, maybe Santa could bring us Harvest crafting for Christmas?

Thanks for you and your crews hard work please don't stop.

Be safe, sk8 str8, and smile at everyone you see.

Namaste

you can't compare wow classic (multiplayer online game) to cyberpunk (single player game)
the last league start with diablo 3 was much more worrying. :P

but ok.. its sad :(

The truth is, for a lot of players, if they miss the initial launch of a league, they'll probably skip it or not take it anywhere near as seriously as if they managed to make good progress and get established in the early days or weeks. It's vitally important to have a clean release. As a side note, this is why we also have a lot of implicit motivation to make sure our releases are as stable and bug-free as possible. B

Hi ggg and thx for your awesome work.

Here are my 2cts about what u said.

Imo, maybe your are stuck in the "3 month league" plan ?
Why not having multiple version of a league,

I.E : 3 month Heist, 2 months heist, 1 month heise, 2 weeks...
Would help u keep leaving players interested with the famouse "fresh start" feeling, and people needing 2 or 3 month to enjoy a league would also have what they need.

Thx for all,
I am supporting the decision and I am hoping not only for exciting alternate content, but also for some quality of life updates and maybe even more important some old issues getting fixed you usually never would have time for. Wouldn't that be healthy for the game long term? Also I am one of the players that still struggels with the steep learning curve of the game and am happy to try out if I can make more eficient use of what I am learning every league and prepare for the next one.

I am ending this with the hope for the Elementalist getting some love and rework.

Also I hope that one day the communities of games will understand...they are games...while it is important to stay passionate and supportive...they shouldn't be real life changing, like taking time off from work or being enraged by single decisions etc.

Games are what they are nothing less, but also nothing more then that.

All the best for the team. All the best for the holiday season and the new expansion.

I am waiting for it.

this sounds a bit strange and almost like a promotion of another video game

but +1 for bex campaign

Thanks for the explenation, Chris. Still hurts me alot.
Anyway, probably invest some time in the new supporter packs, then. Specially if it's that essential for you. This leagues ones are so low-efford and non-special (no pet and so on) that I had to skip on those, for the first time in years.
Just don't do flashback, there's literally no point.
I'm disappointed in the delay, but it seems perfectly acceptable given Chris' reasoning here.

I would like some clarification on what will happen should CDPR push Cyberpunk back again? Will 3.13 then revert to it's December release, or have to be pushed back another month?

That latter scenario seems unacceptable.

GGG now doesn't trust their player base to play their game. They made a choice to better their selves and not their player base. I almost thought I was reading a post form blizzard. We all go back to work in Jan and I for one will not be buying any supporter packs for this league and maybe for ever. I hope people don't let this slide otherwise they will turn into just another company and get too greedy.

What makes you be so self entitled?
Because a company looks after their own financial benefits they are shunned aside?

Who are you to claim "we all go back to work", Some of us work December...
