Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

I mean... I enjoy playing each new league so I'll be a bit sad regardless of the reason (honestly I think thats a credit to PoE being a fun game more then anything else...). Though the second I read cyberpunk had been delayed I half expected this outcome prior to it being announced.

There is however one thing that would make me perfectly happy to wait longer... Mayhem league 2.0 please?
I understand the decision, I appreciate the candor, and I think you've made a solid choice.
Great decision Chris. I support it 100%.

I have two employees that took a full two week vacation for Cyberpunk so my two cents is Chris & team is dead on in this decision.

That being said I'm writing this as I've left POE again and am enjoying, of all things, Hellgate:Tokyo. This happens to me every expansion for one reason.

I'm a casual with a 50-60 hour a week job. I love POE but it is just too damn frustrating to spend 2-3 days leveling all over again and then hit the one shot wall. The game is geared for the highly skilled players which typically chases lower skill players like myself away after 4-6 weeks per expansion.
As a fan of this awesome game it's kinda sucks that I have to wait another month to play my favorite game but...for all what you said, I think you made the right decision.

The loyal PoE players will always be there whenever a league starts.

Keep up the good work! <3

But the commercial reality is that if we kept our original release date, we would be fucked.

lolll. short and simple and true. kudos
Confuses me that people are upset about this, at least the man is being open and honest about his decision. Kudos for the candor.
Soooooo.. a polished exile royale?

It's better late than launching unpolished league like Heist which seems rushed. You could have let Harvest run for 3-4 months but you stopped it for 2.5 months and now Heist was launched with full of bugs and crashes which I don't get the point of luanching it early if you cannot make it work on the first 3 weeks of the league

I agree to launch league so you can polish it thoroughly.

Too many leagues in a row where the players were expected to beta test the code.

15 or something like that. Terrible.

GGG needs to just stop saying shit that make no sense - why delay your game when every option you've listed as substitute for the real game could have been implemented after 3.11 ?

I doubt very seriously that GGG actively is working against their own self-interests - highly unlikely of them to do that.

So, that means, that someone with purse-string / flowchart control is an effing doofus and needs to be excised, whether it's the morons in Shenzhen, some retard(s) internally in Auckland, or retards at Price Waterhouse Cooper.

It's obvious beyond any shadow of a doubt that whoever has the most say in how shit gets done does not understand ARPGs at all, does not understand ARPG players at all.

Too many wtfigo? moments from GGG in the last year or so, honestly.
