Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

i didnt play heist.. way slow league. fun in what aspect? opening doors and wait timer ? no thanks. being in std. mostly afk bcs theres nothing actual fun content to do. time spent on organising stashes. and waiting next league. wich actualy comes in january then.. bummer.

as we can see. this is pretty solid advertimsent to other game and i am willing to pay to that and leave poe behind. flashback ? no thanks. waiting better offers.

maybe harvest, meh. seen by item mod tags its pretty pointless even to add it back to game.

if you talk about poe 2. meh maybe.

lets take a not that lot of countrys go lockdown again,
poe getting boring anyway, poe will lose its players anyway, cant do nothing about it even if its delayed trice.

but you know better whats best for its players. sure. but what i feel you cant know.

I mean if you need more time, take more time. Speaking for myself, i'm tired of playing the bugged beta version of a league for a month and then waiting fore everything to be fixed.

Also, it feels like you have a lack of confidence in your game and in how loyal your playerbase is.

Hopefully, 3.13 league release is going to be a smooth one. Instead of rushing to make 3.14 during December (as said in the previous post) perhaps you should take the time to do more testing on 3.13.

Also, more QoL stuffs please.

Actually I think that there is a bit of confusion and misinterpretation in the initial post on the delay. That initial post said they expect to finish 3.13 in early December. They didn't say we will stop working on 3.13 for a month. Then they said that in the month delay in release they will be working on 3.14. So this means that after they finish 3.13 they will begin working on 3.14. Go back and reread the initial post and you will see what I am talking about.

Also they wouldn't lose me in that month. I really don't care about what they do. Unless it is something fantastic that I want to play it. I will be playing with my Frostbolt Golem Master Elementalist that I have been having fun playing and is still a work in progress. There is so much about the new mapping system of Conquerors that I never had the chance to try out because I needed a new computer to do so.

About a month and a half ago I bought the parts and built my own computer and it is playing PoE much better than the older computer that was over eight years old. So many new stuff to try out in SSF Standard that I have never done before. Yes I did try Heist for a little while and it is an okay league. Can't say where I would put it in leagues other than okay.

What some donn't understand here is that while Cyberpunk 2077 might not be on the ones posting here's radar. That isn't true for a lot of player. Same goes for WoW Classic, so this means that there are more gamers these days that play more than one game only. I ought to know I play more than this game. I still from time to time play games like D3, Star Trek Online, Secret World Legends, Champions Online, and I might either add Grim Dawn or Last Epoch to the list. I play other games like the ones mentioned when I take a break from PoE or they have something special going on that makes me want to play them.

Even though it is a bummer for many. GGG still has to look out for itself as a company. If they fail to take care of themselves when they know it is indeed the lesser of two evils. Just launching 3.13 along side of the other game could be disasterious and might even cause them to take longer to release 3.14 or cause them to cut back on staff just to keep everyone as happy as possible. Maybe this should be a wake up call for them to keep their eyes open for major game releases and then see if they can prevent this from happening again.

I am totally fine with having the release next year; And i dont agree with people saying that it has something to do with 'not trusting the players to play your game'. You have very critical arguments that Just Make Sense.

Yes I wanted to play heist very badly but just... couldn't... Let's just not deny that it was a bug infested league.
With that out of the way, I always have more hope for the next league, and ignite that addictive feeling of wanting to play the game for a stupid amounts of hours.

With that being said.

Good reasoning as far as i'm concerned. Better league on release was already on the wish list of many anyway. I'll wait and i think the same can be said for a lot of players like me who have been playing for years despite bugs and everything. We are critical and want improvements, sure, but we aren't entitled little kids either who throw a tantrum and swear to dump the game over every inconvenience.

Gl on the execution of said plans; we, as a community, will wait and stay here to throw mud should you deliver a dud. Probably while playing the dud.
