Hi there is any play stile require? in game on blade vortex show me dmg from 20k to 200k on 10 stack, and i feel less dmg. somtimes blade vortex want more mana than i have (17-19k and i have 8k) then this dmg is lowest, i dont know how to fix that my pasebin https://pastebin.com/ffxPHSb2

It is bad spot with bad mods, usually mana% life% resist and crit mult are the money ones

And unless it is after double mana% or life% or res% nodes it still not worth to path there.

So I have this timeless jewel, seems like a bunch of great notables and small passives (i was going to add a capture for each small passive but felt like too much work). Given what you can see, do any of you value these notables over the normal recommended tree for the 60x or 200x version?

None of those notables seem worth 3 passive points. In my experience, a good notable that needs 1 point (like on Arcane Vision) is always worth grabbing, a 2 point notable is already stretching it, and 3 point Notables are almost never worth it.

Build needs a very specific playstyle, please read up.

For Watchers Eye its your choice, 1k ES or 15 pen. I think for SC, answer is almost always pen.

As for the jewels, like someone else said, picking up 3 mod jewels and crafting the 4th one yourself is likely the cheapest option. The 4th mod can be either %life with -+life crafts, or crit multi for spells with -+caster crafts. Trying with -+crit crafts is a bait.

On that note, if you are trying to roll for multiplier for spells with rem/add caster make SURE that you are using a cobalt jewel because viridian and crimson jewels can not roll that mod

Need opinions, do you guys think its better to have Counterweight or use those 5 skill points to get another jewel socket on the right side of the tree?

You get 27 crit multi vs 30 and then life and mana instead of block chance

It also allows to put corrupted soul back on the pain attunement node, which means you gain back the 40 dex from the lower part of the tree (40 dex is kinda a lot for this build i feel)

FAQ 12 - More Defensive Layers

1. Fortify

There are a couple options for getting the Fortify buff.
* You can have Vigilant Strike - Ancestral Call with Vigil jewel for 30s Fortify, buts its actually hard to land a strike because most enemies die too quickly.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but what about imho the best way to get fortify?

Use Vigilant Strike with Vigil, but not Ancestral Call, but Generals Cry.
In Bossing situation where you dont have corpses you might want to add desecrate too

Or does this screw with your mana costs?
