[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

I'm currently running a CWDT-Cold Snap setup to chill bosses. In PoB if I go to Calcs and select Cold Snap it displays my Current Chill as 29 % and Current Shock as 41 %. Are these values applied to Guardian/Pinnacle bosses? I'm not sure how to read that table. Here's my PoB: https://pastebin.com/K4zJt1cx

One question I have is how do we deal with DoT? It might just be me that's blind but I cant find anything to really deal with it
I'm also finding DOT's hard to deal with while using the bodyswap build. No regen is making chaos Dot, Phys damage and bleed Dot's super rippy.
DOT has always been the great enemy of this build so you have to mitigate where you can.

1) Corrupted blood immunity on jewel is a must

2) Bleed flask with instant recovery is a must

3) Use pantheons to help where needed. For example, if you run searing exarch influence, Abberath is a must, else run eater of worlds and reroll all burning ground maps.

4) There is also a mastery on the tree that allows you to take 10% LESS DOT

Hello incinerate friends! I'm surprised Andy hasn't posted yet but perhaps he is in mourning over the lost of infinite heist (hugs to you my friend).

When I saw the mechanic I was like "hmm this is perfect for incinerate build", since it's a bit like ultimatum where you are fighting a bunch of swarming mobs (at least you can leave the circle), so being super tanky and just holding down incinerate as mobs run into you sounds good.

There's a new armor mastery "(New) 20% increased Armour per second you've been stationary, up to a maximum of 100%" that is perfect for this build. You will be channeling at the crucible for what seems like a long time (hope they will tune this before league start)

Vaal arctic armour with its new ice block mechanic is interesting as well. Of course we can't do damage while in this form, but maybe allows cheesing of some things like Maven memory game.

The big thing keeping me from league starting this is both our weapon and shield are uniques. Yes it's eventually possible to put trees on them but it requires a (rare?) map drop to enable the tree.

I did not play this last league so I have not been as attuned to this build.

I agree with all of your thoughts.

Chris did say that the map drop that has the mod for Unique item trees won't be too rare.

The bigger problem though is that there is a chance Aegis Aroura spikes in price since when ever we want to combine trees, one Aegis has to be sacrificed.

The weapon won't be an issue since we are one of the few builds that use it so we should be able to sacrifice it at will.

Abyss and I are going to be creating a new POB for this build for 3.21. We will likely have some gem changes, cluster changes and of course mastery changes. It will probably go through some tweaks but hopefully we can post something here in thread for you to look at and give some comments.

I also won't be league starting this but I may play sometime during the league.

Don't forget
Critical Strikes do not inherently Ignite, 100% increased Damage with Hits against Ignited Enemies
from the Fire Masteries

Enemies are always ignited from Combustion so this should be a very nice dmg boost.
I think I would take this instead of the Exposure mastery.

I think this mastery may be very good as well. I am pretty sure Skin of the Loyal/Lords does not have a life modifier on it.

15% increased maximum Life if there are no Life Modifiers on Equipped Body Armour

Funny thing is I mostly play totems now, so I was happy to see this mastery, until I found out that "Totems have 50% more life" has a life tag so it won't work with Soul Mantle XD
What's up guys! I'm thinking about coming back to this build as well for the new league. Don't have anything I'm ready to share, but trying to come up with a life based version that doesn't use Aegis as I also think it's going to be super expensive this league.
