Has anyone tried using Leadership's Price with Inquisitor for this build? It seems like it may work.

I have not tried it. My first concern about adding another unique to the build is putting extra stress on resistance and attributes on the remaining rare gear.

If you get this to work, please post a POB, I would be interested to see it.

I used Physium's PoB and changed a few things. Chaos resist went to hell so it might not be very good. Take a look and tell me what you think.

wowww.. you tried to make righteous fire regen positive?! Super interesting... let me work from your build to see what gem I can unlock. I think can push this to 13M DPS, but I want 75% chaos resist lol, which I think is possible with lower life.

This is really fun and interesting.

Can you help me understand how adding Rightous Fire to the build as an active skill we can support helps us? I don't think I understand the power of Leadership's Price. Is the power in "Scorched"?

The damage still looks great even in inquisitor.

I noticed Ignite is still used. I though Leaderships price prevented us from igniting?

With Inquisitor, you should not need the Silver flask crit mod any more since Inquisitor has high crit chance built into it.

I wish I had more time to study this but wife is yelling at me to go shopping.

By switching asendencies and removing amulet, we lost levels to Incin, shock and Convergence, three HUGE damage components and yet the POB new damage is still huge.

I don't get it but when I do I think next league is going to be extra fun :)

The alternative ailments are insanely OP.

Brittle adds 1% flat crit per stack of brittle. So at 15 brittle our base crit is 20%, very easy to hit crit cap with 0 investment because of the Inquisitor crit chance ascendency.

Scorched is just -30% resistance at max stacks, like shock basically.

Sapped is an extremely strong defensive layer since all enemies sapped can deal up to 20% less dmg.

We also use righteous fire which gives a +40% more multiplier if you have it on, this is essentially elemental overload.

My only concerns are whether this build can reach the appropriate ailment stacks, and obviously the chaos resistances.

oh!!! Great info! Thank you.

So with all the crit chance, do we even want Elemental Overload any more or would we be better off just critting like crazy?

With EO, we don't need a high crit chance, 10-15% is more than enough to proc EO so I want to make sure we are not wasting a ton of crit chance if we do keep EO.

We also may want to think about AOE with this swap. The other half of convergence gives us a ton of AOE when clearing and we will be losing that.

How hard will it be to make the two highest attributes equal to make the amulet function? That seems like it could be tricky with so few rares to balance the attributes?

So if I am understanding the ailment stacks, the amulet allows us to create the ailment stacks based on Fire damage alone. The "construx" I think allows any type of damage to apply the ailments.

As such I would think since our Fire damage can not only scorch, but also apply Brittle and Sap, that we would be able to stack fairly easily but I have never used this so I am not 100% sure.

This is correct, Conflux means that all damage will apply those ailments. So if our fire damage is 1000 and our lightning damage is 300, conflux will count it as if it was a 1300 hit.

The huge downside to the necklace is that our 2 highest attributes need to be balanced, which is actually fairly easy for Inquisitor.

EO will also not work with crit damage but we use righteous fire to give us the 40% that elemental overload would have. If everything works out like I think it will, the build might even surpass elementalist in terms of damage and defense. This is all in theory though so its hard to say without putting it to practice.

What is it about Inquisitor that would help us balance strength and int to get the necklace to work?

==========

For chaos res, we may have to make some choices on the tree. The Asylum wheel can get us 37% chaos res but we would need to free up 6 points.

At first I thought maybe we could drop both the Corrupted Soul group and remove Righteous Path cluster, but I now see those are needed for ES sustain and mana reservation.

Although I do wonder whether we need Arctic Armor any more. We can't chill so we lose that feature entirely. We also are going to take very little fire damage to begin with with 80% res already so even that feature is minimized.

So that leaves the 25% reservation almost entirely for freeze immunity and physical damage reduction (clearly both important but we can mitigate the freeze immunity).

If we remove Arctic Armor from build (and say use Brine King for Freeze), that may free up much needed mana space that we could exploit maybe on the tree to free up some points to fix our chaos res and maybe add armor? I was thinking we could easily remove Rightous Path cluster and in its place add in a rare jewel that could help us balance our attributes and add another 13% chaos res.

Thoughts?
