[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

To configure the monster hit damage:

Under Configuration, top right corner under General section, enemy hit damage.
Found the graph for armour reduction. You can see from 30K to 50K, the damage reduction for 10K damage increases from 23% to 33% (13% less damage?). For 1K, it's 75% to 83% (32% less damage?).

No real gains for 500 damage and below.

Did some calculation and found that endurance charges typically worth 5K-20K armour lol.. hmmm...

1% max resist is about 4-5% reduction in damage as well. And it's normally the elemental damage that is more rippy right? No idea.. I never understood what kills me normally

Guys, do you have any tricks against Kosis at the simulacrum? tried with dps setup(hoa, slaughter) and defensive setup(discipline+ES gained on hit, soul of steel). Funny, but the offensive version worked a bit better...

Yup this is why I whined about no combat log, no idea what kills us.

And you are right 1% max resist = 4% less elemental damage taken (say you have 75% resist, and get hit with 100 points of fire damage, you take 25 points. with 76% resist you take 24 points instead, a 4% reduction (1 less out of 25 = 4%)

This is why I was surprised a few of the guys here ran without curse reduction. With any of the elemental curses you end up taken like 100% or more damage because of the reduction in resistance
I am on a different build right now but I saw you guys chatting about endurance charges. If you have an open flask slot that you can spare, this new unique flask has excellent uptime on the endurance charges. I feel like I have 3 endurance charges through out mapping when using this.

The mana issues are killing me. I'm only level 2; and, god willing, I will reach 93 and above sooner than later.

How can I fix my mana issues when I am not proccing wave of conviction?
I have -3 to channeling on my ring, but it isn't nearly enough. I'm thinking of removing the 50 life on my amulet for an additional -3.

The idea is to have overcapped resist. 110+ resist seems to make elemental weakness a free mod even with increased curse.

The reduced curse is important for things like temporal chains though, which is one of the main problem to fast mapping. I have about 90+% reduced curse with my flasks so the "normal" movement speed feels ok for me. When I only had the ring, it feels slooow.
Kinda bored and shopping for an alt build, and noticed how some uniques are way cheaper this league than others, not sure why. I just bought a surrender shield for 31C uncorrupted, this used to always be 1.5-2X before. Got a badge of brotherhood (frenzy amulet) for like 40C few days ago, another multi-X unique previous leagues.
I have a -3 mana cost to channeling enchant on my ring. Checked my bench again and it's a prefix, where I can also get %damage recovered as mana.

Gave that a try and it worked fairly well as well, although not 100% sure which is better.

Seems like I ran out of mana more under heavy attacks, where triggered spells drain my mana, which is where the %recovered would help more.
I found this on trade but when i put it into my POB, it gave barely 2% more damage, I don't understand. It's 1 extra level to incinerate AND 49% increased damage. POB bug or is there some max incinerate level you cap out?
