Is it really that good? With it I bump from 27k armor to 35k armomr, but lose 25% evade chance and phys mitgation seems to stay at 90.
Im not really good with game mechanics, but does it do anything for us?

Well it is good in two ways

1) It has synergy with our build. More armor is good not only for gaining ES but also for Phy mitigation. Please note that the in game tool tip and POB show 90% phy reduction which is based on SMALL incoming damage. Armor's effectiveness drops considerably as the incoming damage increases (think a big bop type of single hit). So if you adjust the incoming damage size in the POB config window, you will watch your armor's effectiveness drop.

In short, more armor is good :)

2) Even if you don't want the extra armor, others will. There is only one Iron Reflexes on sale right now in our colors and it is priced at 10ex. Even if you decide to sell for 8ex, you just made a 7.5ex profit. That is pretty great :)

You are in a no lose situation. :)

I also agree by the way that Pain Attunement is really interesting to save the 6 points but I am unsure how you turn those 6 points into a medium cluster jewel. The closest cluster jewel socket seems to still be 4 points away before you can even socket a medium cluster jewel. Can you explain this idea more?

Oh there were none, that 10ex is mine. Not sure I will sell it yet, just dumped it for now, cause I cant use it until I attempt to corrupt my Empower.

About points - the last PoB Clay posted doesnt have all the ponts used, its more of a lvl100 option. The PoB has 4 free points, freeing Pain attunement gives 6 more, 10 total, 4 to get to cluster and 6 more to use in the cluster. We need 4 for Medium jewel, so we could either snitch another small jewel (Master of Fear is amazing option as it gives unnerve to cursed targets), or we can use 2 more points elsewhere in the tree. Take a mastery for 20% less curse effect and one in life mastery for 50% nc flask heal when on Low life. A divine flask heals 2500 over 2 sec, prudent divine 101% more, so 5k over 2 sec. I assume with the mastery it will be either 6250 or 7500 over 2sec, which is still pretty nice in my book (thats almost our full hp+ES if used with Zealots oath flask). And it doesnt get us the degen of Taste unique OP has. Its nice to pop to full, but legacy version is only 8% max hp degen, while we have them at 25% max hp, and it still hurts (~200 degen\sec for the duration, which is about 4 or 6 sec)

Also, does anyone know if the cinderswallows dont roll Crit nowadays? Cant find any on trade, am I searching wrong? Only standard has them as far as I can see.

thanks for all the great info!!

Cinderswallow unfortunately got absolutely nuked in the 3.15 nerf. It went from a must have flask for us, to "well this kind of sucks now". I can't see anything in the patch notes that say they removed Increased Strike chance but I too can't find it on trade in Scourge. Maybe the mod was renamed some how?

Nah seems to be nuked. I just checked every single other mod as NOT in the filter, and it came down to veiled and then to unid flasks. Doesnt exist anymore, so big nope for league, it seems.

Yup. I found the exact text. My mistake was looking in the 3.15 nerf of this flask but this particular change came in 3.16

======

The Cinderswallow Urn Unique Flask has changed as a result of the changes above. “60-80% reduced Reflected Damage taken during Flask Effect” is now a possible modifier when Unveiling this Flask, which has replaced the increased Critical Strike Chance during Flask Effect modifier that was possible previously. The crafted version of this new modifier has values of 45-55%, and has replaced the Critical Strike Chance during Flask Effect crafting option.
OK! I've been really struggling on how to switch to full life legacy, but like I said I keep running into walls - stats, resistances, etc.

I think I finally had a logic breakthrough in NOT using the thread of hope. It frees up 8 points and -16% elemental resist (I have a sucky thread). Put 2 points into Precision gives me 20 dex and cast speed, 3 points into Mental Rapidity branch, etc and my DPS is a bit less than before but my effective hit pool almost doubles across the board. I need to double check my results (did all this while on a work production call) but this looks very promising. I think I have enough DPS (I can do sextanted T16) but the random one shots are too scary.

Edit: If I'm brave like Andy and not bother to get a reduced curse ring, then I can even get my chaos resist much higher again. I do have a granite flask that gives 43% reduced curse effect so I could get by without it, but sounds scary...

Imo, capping your resists is significantly more important than worrying about the curses. If you have a map with a curse you don't like, just reroll it.

There really isn't a bad curse though that is too much to handle

Temp chains: slows us but actually keeps our flasks up longer.
Elemental weakness: has no little to no effect if you are overcapped
Vulnerability: we are immune to it
Enfeeble: No effect on mapping, just takes a touch longer on boss

I would much rather see a curse than see -(12-9)% maximum Player Resistances.

OK I made the switch! I have like 25 raw chaos left but:

I lost about 3% DPS but I gained a ton of effective hit pool.

Physical : 126K->153K
Lightning: 50K->102K
Cold : 61K->127K
Fire : 60K->125K
Chaos : 19K->78K !!!!!!!!! (with 73% chaos resist)

One of my ring even has 39% reduced curse effect! :D

Looks good!

If you are going to have empty sockets, I would switch your weapons gems into your helmet (and vice versa) and then add inc aoe to the helmet to make infernal cry sing.

Or keep things where they are and add Inc Durstion and Vaal Haste(or Vaal RF, which ever you like) to helmet. Inc Duration will keep Molten shell up longer and keep your Vaal skill up longer to burst down bosses.

Ah good reminders

Btw right now I'm using herald of ash instead of discipline, because I really like the clear (and the MTX).

Just curious in POB I uncheck HOA and put back discipline (getting back about 900 ES), and the calculated effective hit pool actually does not increase that much! @Andy give it a check to see if you see the same thing in your POB, because being able to use HOA is a lot of DPS (like 12%)

Here is what I see. Standard config, with flasks up

With Discipline:
ES: 3927
Phy: 186,342
Lightning: 132,553
Cold: 157,526
Fire: 155,605
Chaos: 94,132

With out Discipline:
ES: 2976
Phy: 174,816
Lightning: 126,789
Cold: 149,842
Fire: 146,000
Chaos: 94,132

Damage with out HOA: 2.9m
Damage with HOA: 3.3m
So same as me! It's a bit counter intuitive to me that why that much more ES doesn't add much to our effective hit pool, but I guess our ES recover is so strong the extra buffer doesn't add much.

There you go, enjoy even more DPS and clear! :D

Edit: hehe, bought the anomalous arrogance for 42C to do low life, now I sold it for 70C! Now I can afford to feed my virtual pets
