[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

The 4 link with reckoning and ele weakness/flammability isnt casting when i proc a block.. did this change or am i missing something

or am i miss understanding how the link works? when i block does it auto cast weakness/flammability?

yes that is how it is supposed to work. You block, reckoning triggers, it hextouches the curses onto the mobs.

To test just dont attack and stand in a group of mobs, you should see the curse icons over their heads.

I decided to use arrogance to go low life. Moved my gear around to jack up my chaos resist to offset the danger and this is what I have currently:

If I get an anomalous arrogance then I will reserve less than 50% of my life, which will allow my vaal pact leech to not go away since I never reach max life - basically 40% regen all the time. With my thread of hope mistake (dont divine it!) now I'm down to around 80C, and an anomalous arrogance is about 40c, so havent pulled the trigger yet, but I don't see any cheap upgrades anymore. Maybe an watcher eye for the armor

Edit: Note my last flask. I threw one of those flask orb on it and got "used when you start bleeding", so I enchanted it with staunching. Now I don't need a corrupted blood jewel (I think?)

I think used when bleeding is different from used when corrupted blood though. Let me

Your config was pretty good. You were only missing two items that I saw.

1) In the Custom Modifiers box at the bottom, copy these two lines into it:
10% More Spell Damage (Arcane Surge)
30% Increased Mana Regeneration Rate (Arcane Surge)

This will turn on your Arcane Surge (POB does not recognize Arcane Surge from Arcane Adept cluster jewel so this config covers that)

2) Exposure Type needs to be set to Fire in the Skill Options section


When adding just those two, your DPS grows by almost 50%.

As for damage scaling, these will all spike your damage significantly more

a) Empower 4
b) Awakened Ele Focus (level 5)
c) Awakened Controlled Destruction (level 5) (set Unnerve in your Config when you get this)
d) Skin of the Lords
e) Whispers of Doom (2 curses)
f) The Damage Flasks (examples are Wise Oak, Bottled Faith, Cinderswallow, Atziri's Promise etc) Use as many as you can and still feel safe

OK I think I realized I want to avoid running maps which have the Mod "Can not inflict exposure" With out exposure, we lost a TON of mana regen from Mastermind of Discord.

if you make your profile public or leave us a POB link, we can take a look and see if anything looks wrong.

But as Chubby said, go into an area where you can stand safely and get whacked but also an area where TS won't kill the guys on block before you see the curses proc via Reckoning.

@Andy - you are right, wiki says "Corrupted Blood is a debuff that inflicts physical damage over time to the affected target. It should not be confused with bleeding, an ailment with a similar effect."

And yes I must have missed that thread of hope discussion, thanks though for warning others who knows how to read better :D
