Nobody is ignoring anything, most people just use common sense and realize what is done to that kid is not right.

But being harassed in your school life is also nothing harsh, most kids had it and there are different ways to handle it.

And bullying is a very specific form of harrasment(continued over a prolonged period of time to be more precise), so not all harrasment needs to be stopped.

Yes, i once heared of 2 girls slapping each other on lunchbreak, guess it happens once every kids life -time, hearing of it, it should be noted it was during the period of lower education everyone has to go through before being allowed to switch to higher ranked scools.
Later on in life we used more cruel nicknames, one guy was litteraly called "the Nose", took some time till he adapted to his new name given by the "poisondwarf". They were best friends after all.

Lets get back to the scientific approach:
Calling something prematurely to be Truth without having good enough measurements just makes an opinion, nothing more of value.
Your blind rage and inability to sign peacetreaties, in other words come to terms with a different opinion, that "violence just leads to more" puts you a little bit in a loop.

Like mentioned by so many now, there would have been other ways.
Detention for the bully for example, not beeing allowed to join the others on lunchbreak is usually punishment enough to make the bullyparade stop.
That would have required the mom to do her parental duties on checking on their child and then talking to the "professinal" educators( the word´s teachers).

Learn what force is and what violance is and then Youll get the difference.

Learn to see reality as it is not as You think it is or someoneelse tells You it is. Its simple but not easy.
