For people looking at the new juicy totem build, here what I currently recommend for 3.16:

Good old Freezing Pulse totem for map clear.
Creeping Frost totem for single target as a swap OR you can also use it for map clear.

Take a look at those video:

Mapping with Freezing Pulse + Creeping Frost swap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Eqf60pVlkw
Maven Writ with Creeping Frost: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWqWt-qaKtw

I didn't have a proper setup atm, I just reached 100, finished #20. I'm kind of broke from pushing level.

I still need a Bottled Faith, Awakened GMP, 3-mod Watcher's Eye and maybe Multi Totem in main link (idk about that yet).

Mapping could be better: Multi Totem, AoE Scaling, Explody, Herald, etc..

If someone want to try it out, you can copy my build on poe.ninja: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/loloppe/%E3%86%8DLoloppe%E3%86%8D?i=1&search=class%3DHierophant

TLDR: Creeping Frost is way better than Ice Spear as a single target setup for totem build.

Thanks loloppe, it looks very interesting and the single target damage is huge!

I think it would be very cool if you could share your strategy to switch from the classic FP setup to the FP/CF one. For example, when to get rid of First Snow and choose Rain of Splinters/GMP, things like that.
And congrats for the top 20, impressive! You need some sleep now... :)
I'm about to start a character with this build (my second one in SSF), and I have a few questions.

1) Can I switch to FP totem as soon as I can wear Soul Mantle? I already have the basic unique setup (SM + Kikazaru + Self-Flagellation).
2) PoB section mentions that its trees are meant for leveling with HFT. If I switch early, should I ignore leveling trees and skip to the final one?
3) Is Second Wind still worth using after its nerf?

Also, gem links section mentions that Frost Bomb gives 25% exposure. Correct value is 15%.

Hey folks,

Skill Tree

Path of Building Import

Note: You need the Path of Building Community Fork to properly view my (and most build creators') latest Path of Building imports, as the original version of Path of Building is no longer fully maintained. If you don't have the Community Fork version, you can find that here.

https://pastebin.com/q0hpnzWL

This is the main build setup that includes leveling trees during each act of the campaign (meant to be used with the Holy Flame Totem leveling section of this guide).

https://pastebin.com/P1AQkBGX

This is an example of a higher-end investment for this build. This was my own character at the end of Ultimatum league adjusted for 3.16.

I got to say... the build has become a DREAM.
First time i ever done Uber-Atziri deathless.

This Ice-spear suggestion made Night And day on Bosses that normaly are a complete nightmare to do with FP.

However i do wonder...
Have you updated your PoB? - Or Still the same in guide? bottom version?

Would like to see if u updated or changed something....

Q: How come we running the Crit Multi gem and not Crit chance in the 6L setup for FP/IS ?? (feels wierd) and im stuck at 42% Crit chance...

Q: Do i still need Kikazo... Ring (forgot its name) ??

----------------------------------------------------------
Regarding the WEAPON, What STATS do i want more exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------

Toon: ZaZiKo
Those whos the shyest are normaly the strongest, when time demands it they will step up and save the people from the end.
- The blindest are those who think they above others and tries to control it.

I think it says somewhere in the guide that you should start with crit chance support and switch to crit multi when you have enough crit chance elsewhere.
With Viridi's Veil, you don't need Kikazaru.
There's a list of weapon stats in gear section.
Hey Wallach, not FPT-related, but with no Ballista thread yet, I was hoping to get some spoilers. In particular, I was wondering how you utilize your Pantheon and how you deal with ailments/curses? I assume you use Brine King for Major to prevent stunlock/freeze, but wondering what Minors you use in general? I see you're running bleed, ignite, and shock immunity flasks, but your jewel implicits just seem to be whatever happened to roll. I'm wondering if you figured out what sort of flows the best or is easiest to obtain, or if you've just been sort of going back and forth?

Also, as someone who's been spoiled by curse immunity from your FPT-build for several leagues, I'm curious how impactful curses are these days? Do you just manage with the 50% reduction flask you're running? Or do you use any additional curse mitigation for curse maps, perhaps the upgraded Yugul minor?

If you'd rather save this all for your guide, that's understandable. I'm just trying to pick your brain a bit to help plan ahead, since I just got my Ballista alt to 80 and about to do some heavy shopping and flask rolling.

What support should I drop if I'm in a 5-link?

I've been using a mix of things to deal with them. The curse effect flask and upgraded Yugul has been enough to deal with curse maps, and I've got a mix of removal and avoidance for the elemental ailments. Brine King is usually my major to deal with Frozen and Chill, as well as some additional stun protection alongside my chance to avoid stuns.
Just wanted to say this build is MONSTEROUS this league.

Totem updates have smoothed the playstyle. Survivability is up with the tree and increased gearing options.

For reference I've cleared all Atlas content and T16 maps before this, but for the first time I'm blasting juiced T16 delirium, T16 Blights, T16 expeditions too. This build can do it all and with good speed.

You also have the option of grabbing the Clarity reservation efficiency mastery out of Mana clusters and working that into the build to get a lot of extra mana regen at the cost of being able to use a Clear Mind early on.

How does this work? The mana mastery halves the reservation of clarity. You still have a reserve.

What is the recommended 5L soul mantle gem setup?

FP - Increased Critical Strikes - Increased Critical Damage - Added Cold Damage - Cold Penetration probably
At 6l, you want to add hypothermia.
You can also drop Increased Critical Damage/Hypothermia for Multi Totem too.

For people looking at the new juicy totem build, here what I currently recommend for 3.16:

Good old Freezing Pulse totem for map clear.

TLDR: Creeping Frost is way better than Ice Spear as a single target setup for totem build.

Is it normal that the DPS in PoB seems way lower compared to FP or Ice Spear?
Is GMP mandatory for this?

Either way, will probably try it out tonight, sounds interesting!
