Yes, you just won't be 100% immune to curses. I played a few levels without any Kik rings at all (because I am stubborn)and because I had no currency to buy the rings at 7c a pop at the beginning of the league.
It's not ideal, but it's definitely doable.

Okay Thanks btw is there any good way to farm Hubris card? On wiki i saw that it can only drop from library but im not sure if its still same after 3.9 update.

The use of Hatred is only promoted when you´re able to get your hands on a Atziris Reflection Shield. When socketed in the Essence Worm Ring, Hatred reservers 0 Mana ;)
