Despair on hit gloves? Spell dodge boots and maybe additional arrow quiver I think you can get that. Honestly your probally able to clear t 16 conquerors easily. And now 21 20 qual gems :).
How Come we use Immortal Call over Steelskin for the build?

Do you guys really feel the difference?

Yeah, the Ballistas do really a lot of damage, like for example when you go with 6 link Ballista setup they do almost as much damage as SA by itself, what basically just doubles our damage output. Imo that is pretty worth it.

I'm playing this build in my first SCSSF run and really enjoying it! It may not be the most approachable build for SSF but your 'Starter' build info has made getting going really manageable. Beyond my own expectations I've somehow dropped a Lioneye's and chanced The Embalmer. Those with Atziri's Promise has been plenty enough to get me going. So thanks for the build!

Q1: Is there a reason that you specifically advise a Thicket Bow for crafting? I figured that getting a 6L on any of my gear would be a bigger obstacle than farming up fossils so I'm considering farming cards for a 6L Imperial Bow and using that as a base instead. Would this be viable?

Q2: I dropped Three-Step Assault boots before getting Atziri's Step and with Jade/Quartz/Silver flasks I think I've been getting comparable defenses.

Now I've got Atziri's Step as well, could you advise on which is better?

Q3: What exactly makes Lioneye's Glare so strong as a starter and what would it take for a random rare identified bow to be better?

Q4: I'm scour/chancing Silver Flasks to attempt to proc a Coralito's. I know that uniques drop with varying rareness and conditions but I don't know what Coralito's are. Is there a better way to get this? Is trying to chance it a complete waste of currency?

1. Yeah, thicket bow is fastest and generally the highest DPS base. Imperial bow works too, I am actually using it on my char as well mostly because of the cards and how easily obtainable it is, its fine, the DPS difference is not big.

2. Atziri Step is better because we do not have a lot of base evasion, so that 100% inc evasion during onslaught is not doing that much. Step has more HP and also more dodge, what benefits us more.

3. Its mostly just very high pdps bow for very low price and thats it. Of course with Lioneyes you can also drop precision saving mana + running malevolence instead of skitters, what is pseudo damage boost. So its pretty nice

4. Corallito is very common flask, so I assume chancing it should be super simple too. But also, it is Diamond flask, not Silver flask. Only unique siilver flask is Cinder afaik and you cant chance that one as its Catarina drop.

Primarily strength requirements, for Steelskin to be worth it we would need lvl 20 one what has 155 str requirement, what is very annoying. But also, > 7k EHP IC is way better than STeelskin, and the build eventually reaches that point anyway.

Hey, my gear is getting decent (bit low on ehp but damage is fine) and I just got wrecked on awakener - have you guys managed to kill him with this build? I'm thinking about leveling a miner or summoner just for him
Is there any world where you'd remove skitterbots and add malevolence instead or is the 15% extra mana res just too much?

Yes, its common thing to do actually at higher levels (as you will have more mana what means precision will eat up less, also you get - mana cost chest what means no issues with sustain, and then you can move to malevolence).

Also, decided to record some showcase of Ballista single target:

This is warlord getting destroyed, but also it is just low level zone (my char so far did not progressed very much, I was busy and not playing a lot). In this vid I am using Shrapnel ballistas with 5 ballista setup, but they are doing, well, a lot of damage.

Here is also metamorph vid

What use really is the Stone Golem? Mine is level 19 and dies constantly... It's a huge hassle to try to keep it alive. Anyone else just stop using it?

Its very useful early but later it falls off. You can replace it with low level chaos golem or some vaal skill instead (like vaal grace, or vaal haste for damage boost).

Absolutely. 5 ballistas in a 6-link absolutely demolishes bosses combined with our SA.
