PS4 trade prices are an UTTER joke

First of all, GGG literally have the word "Grind" in their company name so I don't know what else you're expecting.

Secondly, no-life doesn't guarantee you a huge currency bank. You could no-life 24 hours a day and still make less than others that only play for 1~2 hours a day.

Lol @ referencing the company name to the in game economy..

The only people who dont have a problem are the ones who are fortunate enough to get the drops and corner the trade market for profit. Evidence is all over the trade board

I'm aware of how rng works. I've found a total of 3 exalted so far, total of 3 the whole last league (what a joke)... buddy of mine found 5 in the first 3 days of legion.. so, he obviously gets an unfair advantage in the race. While I'm still struggling to gear up, he's farming ubers... that's the difference it makes.

But sure, dont change anything, it's fine how it is.. lol.
I've already seen multiple people quit because of the trade market prices and/or currency drop rates are abysmal. People (with real life responsibilities) wont play a game that has to be grinded 24/7 for a chance of a chance at something decent.

LOL, i had all my gear before I was in red maps and had less challenges than you have. I had everything I have right now but my axe (which runs a totem that I dont need 6linked, was fine with previous wep) long before i saw any drop of worth. everything I have was easily obtained with just doing chaos recipe while grinding map completions.
So you farmed both of your 6l with just doing the chaos recipe hm...

So, considering a 6l, even low crap stats, are going for 3-4ex... and ex are selling for 70-80c each... that's somewhere in the ballpark of 500-650 chaos worth.. really now
Mb we should end this discussion? There are only couple toxic and salty guys, who not even playing game much, complaining about market/prices.

Would being salty also make them incorrect?
There are an annoying number of items listed with no price. I submit deals for things that have stats I like. I send about 1-5 Chaos over the lowest price of similar items. Almost all of my attempts are rejected with no response or suggestion in their expected price. Then there are the people that list a price and then reject the price, again without correcting the price or suggesting what they'd accept.

What is slightly better is the number of people that list things at 1c. It's almost the default price because item sells don't want to deal with the other currencies or get less than 1c.

Then we have the active in-the-know players that trade currency. Up until now it could be easy to say the PS4 prices insular to the PS4 but it's clear the the currency sellers just look at ratios on PC and then add 2-5 chaos to their price. This could play into why the average player don't bother dealing with the other currencies.

In-game chat and offline sales could make trading more useful among regular players that are actively looking to buy or sale without ripping each other off.

I imagine a lot of items are simply in the public stash tabs since the whole tab must be public, but space is very limited without spending a big chunk of change.

Inventory management (on PS4 at least) is a huge chore. Cleaning up and organizing a bunch of item dumps is worse than my wife asking me to vacuum the house.

I think trade and pricing needs far greater transparency such as is available on PC with tools — Hover over an item and see pricing history. It would likely solve the Wanderlust for 1 exalt bullshit.
I have noticed that the market is a bit different than synthesis league was.

1. Not as many good rings yet
2. Prices out of whack
3. Gear that I put on the market for reasonable prices are not getting any bites.
Here's an example - Karui 2 handed axe with 200+ phys damage for 8c.
My axe has the highest phys damage for sale in that type atm, no one either can afford it or wants it. I'm not asking for huge exalts here.

I just finished all the acts and am now getting into mapping and delve. I don't have anywhere near as many chaos drops as synthesis and no exalt drops in sight yet. So when I see 30C for a meh item, I figure I'm just going to have to find it myself or hope as I play maps my luck will change.

I do agree that better tools need to be provided for ps4 trade and a sorting feature is really needed for inventory in tabs.

1. Lowest price of similar item doesn't mean that the item is worth that much, there's a huge amount of price fixer in the game, just look at rusted sulphite scarab for an example, there's one guy that priced multiple of those at 6c/5c/4c/3c with no intention of selling. So if you see those prices, and then tries to offer those without a price tag, you would 100% be rejected as they are probably worth 20c or more.

2. People who reject offers at the price they set are probably price fixer as well. Another possibility thou, is that the item for sale is so cheap that it received multiple offers within a short period of time, therefore the seller has no option but to accept one of the offers and reject the rest, this happens to me quite often and makes it really annoying to reply "sold" to each and every offer.

A simple instant buyout would fix all these problem, it was already implemented in the China version, let's just hope that it will make it to the console version.

I started with a tabula, moved to 10c corruptd 6link that I used crafting bench to make work for my gem setup. I farmed and/or purchased (from chaos) all the fusing to 6link my chest at 48quality (took me ~800 fusing) and fossil crafted it (half obtained myself and some purchased fossils).

The currency for my axe (2.5ex) was obtained by crafting and selling mid-teir meta 1h axe/foils, selling low tier maps that I had more than I needed, and chaos recipe. I didnt craft that one but I traded for it and crafted it into something way better than it was when I obtained it

currency isn't hard to make if you take the time to pic everything up. far too many people leave so much chaos on the ground because they simply follow what streamers do when they have all their gear and lost of currency to where things like choas recipe are far from efficient. Other more efficient ways of making currency that you see streamers doing require a large pool of currency to get going and a "finished" build, something nearly no one complaining in this treat has
