Chalk that shit up to rng. Guess what, friends of mine have found 6l inpulsa, 6l belly and upwards of 10ex so far... I've found 3ex and ZERO items of value other than that. So, I have to buy what I need....at those prices |

Since we have kids here who think that prices are "in par" with pc.... here's one for you
Belly of the beast on PC- 1-2 chaos On ps4 - 1.5 exalts.. So, being that exalts are going for right around 100c:1ex on ps4... that's around 150c. So, 1-2c on PC / 150c on ps4.. lol Yeah, just a little more than 15%. Over 100x the price... but yeah, no problem at all (if you're a price fixer) |

" There is a special kind of bad and greedy player ruining the PS4 trade market at the moment. Playing on PS4's standard league is 3x more expensive than playing Hardcore on PC. " The issue is that PS4 players think that it is worth that much and pay that much for a belly. Belly is great and all, but at that amount of initial investment you could spend less to buy a rare base, fossil craft it, have up to 48 quality to 6link (vs just 20 on the unique, or 28 with syndicate crafting bench if setup correct and have the outpost available) and end up with a chest with more life and better stats overall for less money. Its no different than starforge/disfavor vs the elder fortify rare weps. The difference is one is very easy and straightforward and the other path takes knowledge of more systems. The PC players have had many steps to reach the current state of the game so they could learn each new system as they got added, but a new PS4 player is likely still overwhelmed and since most guides just go the get belly or whatever unique rather than suggesting the crafting path they dont take the time to look into crafting. The other bigger issue IMO is on PS4 the item itself has huge value even at 1 socket, whereas on PC the belly only has some value if you have it 5 or 6 linked. PS4 still adds lots of value if you link the items, but far to many people doe not understand how important 6link is so too much of the value goes on the item and not the links. On PC if you get a belly or any good unique chest it only has value if you link it, which based on RNG can make you a ton or lose some investment based on RNG, whereas on PS4 its almost ensured loss if you link it yourself. Until the PS4 gets a larger base of serious players (e.g., those who realize the difference between a belly and a linked belly because they understand the cost to link on PS4 is on average 7.5ex currently), more who craft to provide alternatives that in the end bring down the base price of unique items (the cost of linking the unique vs craft and link a rare at higher quality dictates that the unique cant be worth much without links), more people who delve in order to have a more reasonable supply of the fossils needed to have a healthy crafted item pool, and such we will not see pricing change. The last thing I can say is that far too many items are not listed at final sale price, most of the items listed for 2ex or more sell for less than listed. Some of this is simply due to not being able to list it for 1.5ex and the chaos conversion is just too much of a pain on PS4 where we cant just click a few buttons to see it like you can on PC. Sure some people say 3ex and will ONLY take 3ex, but unless it is a very rare item with only 1-3 on the market, most of the time people take less than what they list because they listed the best value they can get and know each day that goes by the chance it sells at full value goes down because other people will get the item and having it sell is better then holding the item forever in their sell tab. My richest friends either take 2/3-3/4 of their listed price (listed based on market) or list it significantly under the market and just move inventory quickly. I never got how they made so much in synthesis and flashback, and now in legion I have gone similar and have made so much more than the 2 previous leagues. More people will figure this out over time, and prices will reflect it. |

If a Belly is only 1.5 now prices are dropping quickly. It was double that last league, the really shit rolls were going for 2 ex.

I've been saying the same thing about prices on xbox since release. Some things are reasonable and some things are just waaaaay over priced. The only consolation I can offer is that, if the PS market is anything like xbox, it will eventually get better.There are still over priced items, but a lot of things have seen a drastic price drop over the past few leagues.
