Exception Failed to init FMOD System

Found the fix, just change the audio ouput. I was outputting the audio to my sound system, but when I changed it to my headphone (which I was using normally) it worked. Play around with your audio and it should work.

closing netflix on my firefox solved this for me

I had the same issue but I followed one of the post and disabled my sound systems and it worked fine

I got this today while at the same time my youtube browser tab was crashing. My audio device apparently crashed. Rebooting fixed it.
I play on a Mac Pro, Win 10 via bootcamp. |

I had the same issue today after updating my Corsair drivers, (Void Pro headset). I just unplugged my headphones and the game started normally. If I plug them in I have to change the Windows default sound device to anything other than my headset then it works. I guess there's something wrong with the game that is keeping it from even recognizing the headset as it doesn't even show in the audio options in game but the other eight games I just tried seem to have no issues at all.

I just booted my computer, and got this error. I noticed my audio device wasnt the one I was using (two external dacs), so I switched to the one I know I have in gamesettings, and it worked.
