Exception Failed to init FMOD System
Literally just forced quit SONIC STUDIO 3. Now it works perfectly fine for me.
Hope everyone is able to play this amazing game again! |

Can we get a response to this? None of these fixes have worked for me...

So... this works for me (workaround, not fix):
If I have "Audio Enhancements" disabled (by checking the "Disable all Sound Effects" in my speaker's properties), then I get this error. If I uncheck the box, allowing audio enhancements / sound effects, then the game loads normally. Much of the time I still get audio issues after login, and the system automatically disabled sound effects again, so I am forced to go back into the device properties and re-enable sound effects to launch. It does work, though. |

I am having the same issue. Here is my DxDiag https://pastebin.com/f85UYPpc.
The only work around I have atm is to disable all of my sound drivers and then launch the game, then turn the drivers back on. Each time I launch the game. I have tried the solutions offered by RPGNoobAnka, and no good either. Edit: This only seems to be an issue on Steam, the GGG launch is not giving me this issue. After updating video drivers I had to set my speakers back to the default device instead of my monitor.

Disabling and uninstalling the realtek Audio device in the computer management worked for me.
