Exception Failed to init FMOD System

I get this error when i try to start POE while having the Netflix app running.
If I quit the netflix app the error disappears
here link my dxdiag : https://pastebin.com/K5LbMPkQ
I just had this error and updating my realtek audio driver fixed it
I can replicate this error consistently. Every time i have Netflix running 2 things happen depending on circumstances:

If i launch Netflix with POE running, it kills the audio driver to POE and actually goes as far as to show "no audio driver" in the audio settings. This can be replicated every time. Closing Netflix, doesn't fix the issue for audio until i restart the game. This does not appear to effect windows, as all my other sounds work in windows.

If i launch it prior to POE Running, i get the Exception failed error message and game crashes out right.

Hey Guys i found a solution for me.
Deinstall Nahimic VR from MSI.
it also blocked my sound in Sekiro

Same here! Thx buD!

Edit: Without Nahimic i had a terrible sound. But i fixed this problem one for all on all MSI Notebooks!
Will write the fix later that day. It includes Nahimic 3 even on lower that 8th gen systems.
Windows 10 updates kill Nahimic 2 and therefore evoke the FMOD error on poe.

Just had this happen to me. I plugged some headphones in and it went away.
Hi everyone, I had same issue couple hours and fix it by installing newest nvidia drivers, before I try update my sound drivers, but it doesn't help at all. So if you have same issue with FMOD, try uninstall your video drivers, restart your PC and install newest video drivers.
so what to do if none of these fixes work for you?

да это проблема звукового характера. Я просто вытащил наушники и вставил их обратно и все заработало...

+1 Uninstalling Nahimic VR saved me.
