[3.9][HC/SC] Soulrend Trickster - Fast mapper with great defenses (League starter/All content)

I got two questions: First: I should craft a better weapon soon. Just so that I get it right, 1. Wand Probably Opal Wand, at least iLvl 78 to get t1 chaos damage over time - spam alt until t1 chaos damage over time - regal, anul, craft multimod -or- - essence for decay mod, isolate this, craft multimod 2. Dagger - get 3 synthesis with fractured life on hit (can't be synthesized after) - alt spam chaos damage on all, regal and anul - synthesize for chaos damage implicit - craft multimod Advantage of dagger would be making shield charge usable. Advantage of wand would be that it's cheaper Is this right overall? Don't want to waste 2ex because I'm too dumb to craft... Second: I bought some ES gear to swap out discipline for grace (planning to go qotf for the movement speed). I ended up with 4.5k life and 2.3k ES. That's a bit too much for the health pool, right? Ratio should be around ES = 0.35 * life, or is this too naive to calculate that way because of leech and ES spending for spells? Also very nice build, I'm loving it! |

I don't know if this has been discussed earlier but... What do u think of "The Perfect Form" instead of Kitsungi? I feel like it's just better. Free Arctic armour, Phase acro, life, evasion etc.. | |
" You don't need to alt spam chaos damage, just scour - regal - annul - craft chaos damage. You can even craft the lowest rank of chaos damage, check poedb for source on that. |

" As to the crafting portion, if you go wand, I think Non Ailment Chaos multiplier gives more damage than spell damage, especially if you go the Decay route. You can get that implicit by synthesizing. For dagger, you can get 3 with a dead mod, and if you have the Increased Chaos Damage recipe from T3 poison room from Incursion you can craft that to synthesize the T1 Chaos Damage implicit on dagger. Also for anyone looking at the sample crafts in the original post, you can't have Increased Spell Damage and Increased Chaos Damage/Increased Chaos Skill Duration together. " It's a preference really. I don't have the space anymore to squeeze Arctic Armor in so I like Kintsugi also for the Evasion boost which translates to more ES recovery from Ghost Shrouds. For the crafting part:
I could get non Ailment Chaos multiplier on the daggers as well. Will this synthesize as a new implicit on daggers? |

Why You use lvl 20 CWDT. It need 3300 dmg taken to activate.

Thank you very much, that makes planning a weapon much easier. I think I'm going for a wand with non ailment modifier! Edit: If I get that right, we need at least 91% to get the T1 implicit. I'm not really happy with the initially proposed gem set-up so I want to change it around a bit.
question 1: How can I add a 3 aura set-up with enlighten 4? I guess I need mana reservation, what's should I change in the tree? Question 2: Any other gem set-up suggestions? Question 3: How can I increase my defenses a bit? I feel my HP is a bit low, but not rly sure what to change. You should be able to see my character. Thanks in advance! |

How much ES should I be looking at on a helm/shield to switch to the 2nd build? I know we end up needing about 2k ES, so including the multipliers from the tree, how much flat ES would that total up to?
