Interesting on that unnatural instinct. I didn't think of going the other way of the jewel slot. Did you work out how much you lose / gain in terms of stats though for a 13ex jewel :) ?
i just edited my post so its more informative. I think i make out on the unnatural instinct.... this is what you get in that spot
9% increased cast speed
10 to maximum life
24% to maximum mana
20% mana regen rate
16 percent increased aoe
20% increased skill effect duration
.3 % life regen per sec
10% increased area damage
5 to strength
5 to intelligence
and a few other things that dont work for the build
im able to save 3 skill points by not having to put them into the increased duration node.
I think its worth it but only if you have ex to burn lol

Wait, so I see all these posts using tons of unique items.... how do you cap your resists? Do you rely on wise oak to cap it for you and assume it will be up 100% of the time?
since you are a pathfinder you have flasks up almost all the time, the taste of hate and dying sun will max out your resists for fire and cold as long as you have your tree set right, you also get some resists off your armor if your using one like mine that offers triple resists, you can get the rest off your ring, belt or, jewels

So if you have taken the mana nodes and used a very good hypnotic eye jewel instead you would have gain 50 life 50 mana 16% mana and 20-25 cold damage to spells. You should subtract that as well on top of above stats. i guess you would have net more mana/ aoe though at the cost of some life. Damage shd be slightly higher as well.
Edit: 3 nodes saved so you can make up the life though u lose 25% duration. So perhaps is worth it but I agree only if you have ex to burn lol

Just a quick heads up for people who are still leveling...
+2 Projectiles or +2 AOE corrupted Tabula Rasa's are less than 20c right now. Big boost to your dps, and you can use them starting at level 16.
Been fooling around with winter orb for a while, played a crit assassin version and i though that was good, well the pathfinder indigion version is much better!!!!, i think the crit vesion clears a bit better but it sucks for single target dps. This version can run everything, ive taken the build to the max i think. Im gonna run this to 95 and add more life nodes but right now i dont have any issues dying unless i get caught in the wrong spot during a boss fight or use my flasks to fast
So i went with queen of the forest for clear speed and high evasion, i can hit 45k evasion with just the one flask as long as i run grace. Essence Worm is necessary for this build.
these are a few changes ive made
since im using 4 fevered mind jewels i can use these gloves for cast speed, abyssal sockets, life, and arcane surge
queen of the forest, swapping out lmp for slower projectiles for single target dps
absolutely must get the mana recovery on belt, i got very lucky and rolled a cast speed modifier, took a lot of spamming of alts
bubonic trail is great if your using commandant of the pit gloves, im able to have 4 abyssal jewels and not take up any spots in my tree
make sure you have an onslaught mod on your eye, since we are using essence worm you are going to want to avoid the mana multiplyer onslought support will add to the build
one thing to note, i was able to get all of my lightning resist from my ring. You will need atleast 23 lightning resist and 3 fire resist on your queen of the forest... with the way my tree is setup and the two flasks that give fire and cold resists you only need additional lightning resist, by getting all my resists for lightning on my ring i am able to swap out the belt with a Bisco's Leash for rampage when mapping.
spent a lot of ex crafting the ring, belt and scepters, but everything else was not to bad, ovb you dont need unnatural instinct but its awesome if you can get it.
I am also doing a Crit version like you. You can check my charater Winteryjourney. All of my gear of BiS atm (Maybe the chest can be upgrade and slamming life on my Elder ring). Single target damage is big. I can almost insta phase Shaper (Already did the Anormalities challenge)

Question, what is more tankier. Loreweave or ur armour?

Loreweave is good against elemental damage, and nullifies the most dangerous map mod in the game (-x to player maximum resistances).
QotF is good for general evasion against melee / ranged hits and for clear speed, but does nothing against spells.
I still prefer the perfect jack of all trades, a rare shaper chest with good mods for this build (life / mana / extra mom / resistances) if you are able to balance the life / mana ratio accordingly.

Pretty much answered fully.
The only thing I would add is this. IF you are doing the crit version, Zealotry aura is pretty a must since it almost enabling us to crit reliably combining with our diamond flask. Zealotry cost us 50% of our mana therefore you need to sacrifice 1 ring slot to use the Essence worm ring. This leaves only 1 ring slot, belt and boots to fill our resistance.
A Shaped body armour would help us ease the elemental resistance constraint and also compete with loreweave's increased critical chance with a +1.x % base crit chance. Of course the max resistance is very good on loreweave but if you could not cap the resist, the mod is meaningless
I like your variation on QOTF which I have a soft spot for since I ran a wander previously. 277% increased movement speed should be great for mapping!
Though on your POB I see that your mana and mana regen looks incredibly low. For comparison, I have 6000 total mana, 4253 unreserved, and 2200 mana regen (assuming hit recently). I am not a big fan of using essence worm on a Indigon build as I just think you lose so much in terms of mana not to mention the extra life/ resist. The extra mana means around 30 more stacks of Indigon or 800% increased spell damage which means you should be missing out on a lot of damage and also extra survivability from MOM.
If you drop your haste/ essence worm you only lose like 30% movement speed (or 12% less overall) but you can get so much more. Just my 2 cents.
Don't forget that Loreweave negates the degen from RF also. I degen only 5% of life per second so that's almost like running blood rage on a Vaal pact character.
I was running a chest like that in Delve but that was in the good old days when PF was getting +15% max resists from flasks so absolutely no reason to run Loreweave back then.
I can see a few people are running Eternity Shroud for the extra DPS so use whatever floats your boat. Still doesn't beat my +2 loreweave though :)
