[3.6] Indigon Winter Orb- Fast, Tanky, High Damage |Deathless U.Elder, T16 easy farm

OK funny story to share from tonight's adventures...

Running a T16 hydra map with Einhar on it, zooming around, killing packs, downed 4 yellow beasts, about 2/3 through the map. Engage the red beast, and I'm like, damn this mob is dying SLOW... and where the heck are my vortexes?!?

And that's when I realized I ran the whole map with my backup weapons, which have basically NO stats, they are just for gem leveling.

Moral of the story? This build rocks, and don't stress too much on your wands/scepters - anything will do!

Is all about positioning as WO targets the nearest one. If the top left has the mirror then just stand diag below the bottom right one. I did it in one portal last league.

If you only have got MoM on the tree (30% mitigation) and you add a 10% watcher's eye, you are going to 40% mitigation. That's like taking 14.2% LESS damage when compared to the 30% baseline MoM.

What loreweave are you testing in PoB? The legacy one or the new one? PoB hasn't still updated the unique items, sadly, so the perfect rolled one has still the 80% max res roll.

I have figured out why. Somehow I had -max resist on config on -10% which was messing up the calculations on the rare chest.

I have pumped this now into s spreadsheet to compare:

Looking at these, these are my conclusions (feel free to correct):
1. Rare chest with 10% MOM would indeed give you more EHP than the reduction you get from new Loreweave for elemental and especially on physical and chaos. On legacy loreweave it was still comparable
2. When flasks are up, +1 max resist has little or almost no value post rounding except for lightning.

As such the BIS in 3.6 would indeed be a GG rare chest with life, mana, MOM, physical taken as cold, +2 socketed gems!

What's the best way to make up for the lost crit though from Loreweave?

6-link perfect rolled Inpulsa or even Shroud of Eternity would be cheaper than crafting this.
But not corrupted for +2, for sure. That corruption is a fun for RMTers anyway, so who cares?

Shaper armors has roll of + flat % crit rate for spells, btw.

I realize one other thing as well. The extra ehp from mom is only there if you have the mana to take the hit. With Indigon, your mana can be depleted very often. So if you unluckily take a big hit when mana is empty, that ‘extra ehp’ does not exist so in such situations direct mitigation would be better.

You are not following the guide in skills

POB shows, that you have ~700k shaper DPS (with both RFs, 1400% Indigon and against chilled only, if not chilled - much less, smth about 500k) per projectile, so x6

Anyway, it must enough. But.

You also have very low mana regen and pretty low life regen.

So, most likely, you are getting hits, draining mana very fast... no, like that - VERY fast with fevered mind jewels (even TWO!), so you can't maintain channel for long, your Indigon loosing his buff very fast and, pretty sure, not ever reaching average 1400% buff

So you DPS became pretty low. Let's say, Indigon has only 200% spell dmg buff and your DPS would be smth about 280k / proj only.

Even this DPS must be enough for Uelder.

But without mana your survivability is a joke.

Havent look at your POB but on your char not sure why you are running a diamond flask as it does nothing for you. So for starters replace that with TOH. Your cold resist doesn’t look highest so wise oak is prob doing nothing also. Otherwise your gear looks ok (weapons can be upgraded of course). Even with all these I am not sure how it is possible to get super low damage unless you are not getting any Indigon stacks. My only guess is that you are not familiar with the u.elder fight so you might be trying to attack them while their shields are up or something. Watch my video again and how i kept moving in a circle to avoid all their stuff.
